Darkwater rips are actually verified to be 1:1 archives of the original disc, and are some of the best available on the internet; I'm almost positive your troubles stemmed from faulty emulation.

I have a ROM I ripped myself that I know does work, but the link is apparently dead and I have no idea why.

How exactly does it glitch out?
Heres a example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR_TMaU9xDc
Bandicam doesn’t like SSF. Use DXTory, Fraps or PlayClaw.

Don't spread misinformation Fifo. Bandicam works best with SSF and my Let's Play is a proof.
DXTory cannot record SSF at all, it is not a compatible program.

Fraps is better than Bandicam. Bandicam is a big shit ; Fraps does not even need to be configured, it is excellent. You just have to enter the hotkeys for screen / video capture.
In addition, Bandicam lag.

FRAPS produces big files.

Just host them on your website and you will gain space on your hard drive.

Because it's mandatory to record in massive-ass uncompressed files. :boon:

FRAPS records in .avi, which can be several GB large within minutes, Tech refers to this file size.

It records without compression while Bandicam uses its own Bandi MPEG-1 compression... Don't quote me on that though, I'm not quite sure if it's right.

Basically, FRAPS only works with its own built-in lossless codec, hence why it "doesn't need to be configured;" there's literally nothing to configure. Bandicam, on the other hand, both includes multiple "recommended" codecs to choose from (including one that actually uses your GPU to encode the video), and also works with any codec installed on your computer should you choose the "External Codec" option. That's also why it can lag more at times; by default, it's compressing the video in realtime.

You actually also have the ability to record losslessly, like if you use the Lagarith codec, which would lead you to get around the same performance as FRAPS while still outputting smaller files.

FRAPS for me is biggest piece of slow shit that barely works on my PC. It lags like crazy. Bandicam is superior in every way because I can configure it to be more suited for my weak PC while with FRAPS I would be forced to upgrade this very moment. Only reason is that cracking Bandicam is flawed and always after few days it returns to unregistred version and I need to run keymaker again but I would rather do that than use laggy program.

That reason, sir, is not justified, my dear *cough* pirate :P

I have bought the full version of Bandicam and I don't regret it!

Disconnect from the Internet before launching Bandicam.
