Meh, Adventure Time has a better backstory methinks, as it's so deep yet still shrouded in mystery, with subtle clues arising every so often. It's interesting to think such a world is actually a post-apocalyptic nuclear war ground.
< is liking Steven Universe too, even though it's much less grand than AT and GF, but that's probably why < likes it, and it still seemingly has quite a deep backstory so far.

Adventure Time is just bad in <'s eyes. The show always drop sub plots and the art style isn't that great either. The humor kind of falls and it just doesn't make < laugh.
< doesn't watch Steven Universe for most of the same reasons.
