I know it must be annoying with me always asking questions, but will the game support DirectX 11? If it does, I would really try to take advantage of that feature if I were you, as it could be a great selling point, and would appeal to those who have DirectX 11 cards like me. Even if it doesn't, I'm still getting this, :D

Yup, it will support DirectX 11. At the moment it only supports 9 and 10, but a DX11 patch will be released in a few months I believe.

There's no info on it. I sure hope it takes advantage of tessellation. If it didn't, that would be of the utmost retardedness.

I agree. If it does support tessellation, it could give Direct X 11 card owners a massive increase in performance and speed.

Speaking of which, have you heard any news on when the free version of the Cryengine 3 is supposed to come out? I'm kinda wanting to use it instead of the UDK, but I'm kinda tired of waiting for it.

Nope, there hasn't been any news on that either. I hope there will be soon.

ACTUALLY what do you know. An update was just released today announcing that a free version of CryEngine3 will be coming this summer! :)

Can you please give me a link to the announcement? I'd really like to see it!

EDIT:Perhaps if you are having trouble with collusion detection, maybe you should look at some other Crysis mods and get an idea of how they do it.

I have thought of something you could integrate into Rayman 1.5, that would add alot to the story. Include subtile hints of the upcomming pirate invasion, foreshadowings and stuff like that. Perhaps even sneak a pirate or two in there, and I'd be super happy.

Please note, if you did sneak pirates into the game, could you use the original Rayman 2 model, with perhaps some texture improvements? The old model has a fair amount of charm that would be lost if replaced with a super high-poly model.

Charm will never be lost with a high-poly model if you know what you're doing.

Absolutely stunning work with the porting Rayfan, the new version is really keen on colors and surfaces.
I have to admit I was very skeptical about your enthusiasm at the beginning of the project. But now I see you are really dedicated. Sorry about my misjudgement. I saw lots of fangames come and go.

Heheh thank you. :)

But as of now it's slowed a bit. Too much school stress to work on something for a long period of time. I also might take a break from designing until the official CryEngine3 SDK comes out in summer. I can still make music though, which also isn't going all too speedy.
