I am surprised Apple allowed these games to exist but it's cool to see games with Nintendo characters on tablets. Even if the game is developed by Chinese company who most likely did not get Nintendo's permission

Meh, things slip by Apple, though I guess it's to be expected when running such a large store, I'm sure Google Play is probably worse in this regard.

The Wii U is nowhere close to being canceled, like the Sega Dreamcast. Nintendo still has a lot of money in the bank, and I mean alot. But that still doesn't mean they can't lose all that money if they don't get someone that knows where this current generation of gaming is going to, because i'm sure Nes Remix won't entertain you for ever. And while the Wii U Smash Bros, and 3DS does seem to be taking a step forward in terms of graphocs, game modes and online, I think brawl has the better fighter list, with fighters like Ike, and Snake. But who knows, maybe there are more fighters they didn't announced just yet...

What made you think that just because I shared that tweet I think Nintendo is finished? Nintendo has so much money in bank that they can last till 2052 even if they keep loosing a lot every year (which of course won't happen).

Tried Mario Kart 8 at WonderCon. I sucked at it. Stupid steering wheel controls. But the game plays fantastic and it's fun to play! And it looks amazing!

Hmm, still use the Wii Wheel, do they? Can't say I was a fan of that schema myself. Though doesn't it retain support for the more traditional stick play?

Oh yes. You can play with all of the schemes like the Wii version did, but the booths at WonderCon only supported the Wheel control scheme.
