I can bet they will go to boost (AKA Colors and Unleashed) style
Reviews mean a lot to Sonic Team and since Colors had good reviews they will go back to it.
sergiomonty wrote:Nope. It sold decently on the first day ... theeeeeeen the sales ramped down pretty quickly, probably due to the poor reviews and the small Wii U install base. If this game wasn't so rushed, it would have been an actual system seller.
How is the game rushed?
And I can bet if Sega havent made deal with Nintendo and made Lost World besides Wii U and 3DS also for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 and PS Vita, game would sell a lot better. I always saw Sonic as good idea on Xbox consoles besides Nintendo expecially since msny people compare Xbox to Dreamcast.

Well then, my Arc S couldn't handle Sonic Dash, that's a pity indeed.

I don't see it on Play Store on XPERIA Play. I am guessing it can't handle it.

Hm, you can always check if that's the case by using the Play Store website, and log in with the same account you use on your phone.
I think it's time I tinkered with the phone again, actually, it's been rather unreliable as of late.

OCG, do you even know what a rushed game is?

Also, as console exclusives, they obviously expected to not have big sales... but the sales where abysmal, and didn't do ANYTHING to help the Wii U. The obvious reason: the reviews, and how infamous Sonic is thanks to the (alive again) Sonic cycle.

It says it is incompatible.

Game that has many bugs/glitches due to not being polished enough and released too early.

Well, that is a big pity indeed, I'll check up with what my bro has to see on it, seeing as his phone is on Gingerbread.

The only rushed part of Lost World is Super Sonic's animations. Any other glitch in the game is really hard to find (I found two really cool glitches before anyone else. DarkSpinesSonic ended up finding one of these and posting a video before me, though. However, he did not fully experiment with it. The other one has not been found by anyone yet, and I will post a video of it as soon as I can). The only glitches that need patching are the Super Sonic animations, and the Strobe Glitch (which is a serious health hazard). Every other glitch is just a fun little hiccup, or something you have to go REALLY out of your way to experience.

The bad reception from big name reviewers was completely unjustified. The reasoning was terrible, and in most cases, they didn't touch on the game's real flaws at all.

The game has sold badly as far as Sonic games go, but it still sold well enough, considering it's a Wii U exclusive.

I really want to know what is Sonic Team planning next.

They'll keep the same mechanics as they were highly praised, but they may get rid of the Mario Galaxy-esque worlds and make the worlds a bit more grounded.

This game is what Sonic Unleashed was to the boost formula - the experiment. The start of it all. This game was Sonic Team throwing their ideas into a blender and seeing what worked and what didn't. Now they just need to take out what didn't work, and focus on what did.

I hope you are right but some are suspecting the return of boost to win formula.

Iizuka said already that he was completely done with the boost formula. It won't be coming back as long as he is in charge.

They'll likely just make Sonic's running speed faster, as one of the main complaints from reviewers was "SANIC NOT FAST ENUF!!!!111!!11!!".
