Lovely! < wonders if ^ wants to use it for writing English ('bout 10-12 vowel phonemes) or a language of ^'s own making. Do post a pic~

Re: The You Game!
The vowels (the ones at the top) from left to right are:Jewish Candy wrote:Lovely! < wonders if ^ wants to use it for writing English ('bout 10-12 vowel phonemes) or a language of ^'s own making. Do post a pic~
"or" as in the sound in bored, "uh" as in gun, "eh" as in bed, "ih" as in fin, "ee" as in feet, "ah" as in mad, "ar" as in car, "oh" as in cot (not as in open, for that you can use "uh" and "w"), "oo" as in cute, and the upside down A thing (it's supposed to be a kind of mix between a U and a H) as in "good" as the example says.
The grid is split into vowels at the top, round sounding letters in the middle, hard letters at the bottom left and soft letters at the bottom right. The 4 dots are to end a sentence and the single dot is like a space between words.
The letters correspond to the runes that they reminded < of when < said the sound aloud, and some runes are just similar according to if the letter sounds similar (like "z" and "ʒ").
To write something like "concerto" for example, you would use the symbols for "K", "UH", "N", "CH", "UH", "R", "T", "UH", "W" (at least < thinks that's how you pronounce it...)

It could be used for English or any language really, < doesn't think <'d be able to make a whole language up but that'd be cool.

Nice stuff! Runes are purdy.
< used to write <'s diary in a personal alphabet so no one could read it, teehee. < even included measures to throw off any budding code-breakers - like yours, it wasn't a direct cipher. < hopes you find good use for it!

Re: The You Game!
All this talk of personally encoded journals makes < think of Gravity Falls. <'s never seen a show where code-breaking plays such a part for its fans.
Re: The You Game!
< didn't get to have his portfolio checked.
< was pretty mad about that.
At least getting to see Alwx Hirsch, creator of Gravity Falls, in this next panel < is at right now.
