Hey look, the Game Grumps (excluding Barry) are on this too.
Re: Rayman Legends

Re: Rayman Legends
Personally, I think Orchestral Chaos 8 bit was the worst when it came to visuals, it would rhythmically go into complete static, which got excruciatingly nauseating.Rayfist wrote:It is not IGN video editing I just figured out... this shit will be hard undoubtedly.
However, in terms of the one which was most difficult, probably Dragon Slayer, it would increasingly become more and more pixellated, which made things difficult.
LOTLD 8 bit uses a combination of the previous effects, as well as making the screen turn upside down at times in combination with some effects, and the multiscreen effect as well, though as long as you could follow the rhythm, it wasn't that hard at all, Dragon Slayer 8 bit was much more difficult for me.
Re: Rayman Legends
@Rayrobi You already finished the game?
Whoa, that was fast!
I just completed 20000 Lums Under the Sea minutes ago, so I already did more than half of the game. I think this is going to be my favourite world, I loved everything in it: level design, enemies, bosses, music...
I think the Back to Origins appear in a specific order, however the order is not loyal to RO... By the way, should we consider the Back to Origins levels as canon? Knowing there are deja-vu events like the Moskito and the Tricky Treasure, wouldn't this be quite confusing?
Well, lets hope that tomorrow I beat Olympus Maximus and the Livid Dead Party.

Re: Rayman Legends
Holy crap, the game grumps cast will be doing the Kung Foot tournament. We should totally host something like that here.
Re: Rayman Legends
Nope, you don't.Bradandez wrote:Do you need an Xbax membership to play the online challenges?
I can, I've been playing the daily Xtreme challenge all day (ranked 2nd atmRayrobi wrote:Also, can anyone play the daily challenges? I can't reach Ubi's servers on the 360.
Re: Rayman Legends
Indeed, but considering there are people who bought the game for different consoles, i doubt it would be done well.Rayfist wrote:Holy crap, the game grumps cast will be doing the Kung Foot tournament. We should totally host something like that here.
@Haruka My favourite is also 20000 lums under the sea. And Teensies in Trouble. I really like this stealth action they've put in. Also my favourite Origins level Swinging Caves, have been remodeled best of the Origins paintings i think.

Re: Rayman Legends
Last I checked, Kung Foot was local multiplayer, not online, so unfortunately, I don''t think such a thing is feasible.
Re: Rayman Legends
My favourite world is Maximum Olympus, I though it was pretty cool and interesting.
I finished LOTLD hours ago, the hardest stage for me was Gloo Gloo 8-bit.. for some reason I kept dying near the end and I couldn't really see why. Overall im a little disappointed with LOTLD, I though it would contain more original stuff and something spectacular in the end. Also the game doesn't feel more lengthy than Origins, if I hadn't played all those challenges I would have something like 10hours of gameplay right now, completing the full game in only 12 with everything unlocked
, I guess that may be due to RL being much easier than RO (at least it seems so)
I have a rank of Awesomeness lvl 9! Does anyone know the max?

Re: Rayman Legends
UbiSoft needs to patch that. I understand that they can't put online multiplayer on levels but come on. Kung Foot is just a minigame.Master wrote:Last I checked, Kung Foot was local multiplayer, not online, so unfortunately, I don''t think such a thing is feasible.

Re: Rayman Legends
Erm, well, I've played through and beaten all the 6 main worlds, and honestly, I still can't pick out a favourite, whether that's a good or bad thing, I don't know. The levels themselves were pretty decent, the one that sticks out particularly is probably that Maze level, it's nothing really special, but it was a nice stage to run through, and get a little disoriented in as well.
As for the Origins stages, they've made a few changes in the layouts, it's not so much that they change how levels work, but I've certainly noticed a few changes here and there, they're as fun to play through again as ever.

The highest I've seen is 11.M3T30R0 wrote:I have a rank of Awesomeness lvl 9! Does anyone know the max?

Re: Rayman Legends
I just finished the boss of Olympus Maximus today. My Wii U gamepad needed to be charged anyway so I'll try out the musical level + TLOTLD party tomorrow. c:
[ The boss was...Woah. I found it a little tough at first, but when you know what to do it's fine. ...Flying pigs to bounce...I wonder what kind of weed the Ubisoft team was smoking.
About the end, well, I wasn't expecting much more, knowing how RO ended, and by the fact the whole game doesn't have a proper scenario. x) I just got annoyed with their long credits again. ]
I can't wait to try out the last world!
My favourite worlds so far are Toad's Story, 20.000 Lums above the see and Olympus Maximus. I honestly can't pick just one, I really enjoy most of the levels.

I can't wait to see what visual the "One-Eyed Harpist" song goes with!

You will be very disappointed. [You see because the song isn't in the game proper, and the Cyclops only appears in the background of the last level.]TheTempurmental wrote:I can't wait to see what visual the "One-Eyed Harpist" song goes with!

Re: Rayman Legends
I'm not sure if that's a necessity, UPlay has been acting up regardless on my PS3, and here, on my PC as well.
Re: Rayman Legends
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I am deeply disapointed. I honestly don't enjoy the game as much as Origins. It's shorter and less beatiful than I expected.
Under the Sun's Warmth doesn't play in Toad Story. Murfy is painful there. The athmosphere of the first level of TD doesn't carry on to the following levels.
Lucha Libre Get Away starts promisingly but is the worst level ever. Princess resquing is just challange levels. LOTLD doesn't have normal levels. I want to cry.
