Re: Rayman Legends
@Buildersith, whoa! Really? That much of a marked improvement?
Ahh, personally, Legends is a bundle of fun, a bundle of fun that I've just gotten all Teensies on, and it isn't even College yet! Seeing as I've now beaten the main thing, I'll be going after the minor details, that being the lum trophies, whether or not Legends will be subject to the same lacking amount of revisits I've given Origins, remains to be seen, but while I'm in the jist of it, it certainly has been a worthwhile experience, my experience with the Murphy play has been surprisingly pleasant, given some of the footage we've seen, I never felt it would turn out as well as it actually did, so props to the fellows who worked on that!
All in all, definitely a great Rayman title, definitely worthy of the name, though I still can't gauge whereabouts it lies on my list of favourite Rayman games.

Re: Rayman Legends
My only guess would be to reach awesomeness level 11.Rulez wrote:For those who don't want to risk being spoiled about this one certain thing, it's about an unlockable character that seems to be unlockable neither via Lums nor Teensies.MyBodyIsReady wrote:Any ideas [how to unlock Ubi Ray?]
Re: Rayman Legends
Ooo, I found the soundtrack on YT and it is beautiful. So much variety! I'm getting the game, but first I need the moolah. We'll see how much of a great experience this'll be, but R3 probably will still remain as my favourite one.

Maybe you have to use Uplay a lot!MyBodyIsReady wrote:Any ideas [how to unlock Ubi Ray?]
Re: Rayman Legends
I finished Olympus Maximus a few hours ago and this world was also very good. I believe my top fav worlds are definitely the 20000 Lums Under the Sea and Olympus Maximus. [ I loved the maze one, it was a different level design.
]
I also completed the BTO's levels of Jibberish Jungle, Desert of Dijiridoos and Gourmand Land. Tomorrow I'll aim for the remaining two worlds, the remaining Invaded levels and finally I'll move on for the Livid Dead Party. So I might have my final opinion about the game tomorrow night or Tuesday.

Re: Rayman Legends
Yes that much of an improvement. aftter all,I've spent almost twenty hours playing, if I didn't like it I wouldn't have made it past the demo. Right now i'm on Mansion of the deep, and for every level i've played so far I have 100%'d everything, all teensies, all Lum trophies. just having trouble with the king in Mansion of the deep, in fact I've had trouble with at least 1 teensie in every level of 20,000 lums under so far.Master wrote:@Buildersith, whoa! Funnily enough, one of the things I really like about the game is apparently due to a glitch in the PC port (or some compatibilit issue with Windows 8 ) were playing in full screen makes the game run a tad slower, but honestly if that's the case, i'm keeping it in full screen because the running speed makes deaths feel like my fault (and trust me I've died plenty times) whereas in Origins very few deaths felt like that, they all felt cheap because I had little to no reaction time. plus I tried playing in a window... and it makes the game feel too fast if you ask me.

Re: Rayman Legends
Isn't that how you get Lums though, considering the character in question is not unlockable by Lums apparently?Bionichute wrote:Play all the levels multiple times, getting the gold score each time. He isn't? Hm, interesting, [So, the 1 000 000 Lum prize would be NakedRay, then?], a little anticlimatic, for such a hefty sum, but whatever.

Well I didn't realize that at first godRulez wrote:Isn't that how you get Lums though, considering the character in question is not unlockable by Lums apparently?
You probably have to get 11th level awesomeness then
Re: Rayman Legends
I think the maximum rank in the Awesomeness is the 10th. By the way guys, did you notice the list of achievements in Uplay?

No, it's 11th. I've seen it on the challenges app.Haruka wrote:I think the maximum rank in the Awesomeness is the 10th. By the way guys, did you notice the list of achievements in Uplay?

The G should be capitalised and there should be a comma after "first".Bionichute wrote:Well I didn't realize that at first godRulez wrote:Isn't that how you get Lums though, considering the character in question is not unlockable by Lums apparently?
Re: Rayman Legends
The actual max level is more than 10 ( probably 11 ) i already got to the tenth levels and didn't get the achievement, nor did the awesomeness level gauge get filled up, 10th level was at 4500 trophy points, the next is at 6000 points. Also i already redeemed the 22000 lums reward in Ushit.Haruka wrote:I think the maximum rank in the Awesomeness is the 10th. By the way guys, did you notice the list of achievements in Uplay?
Re: Rayman Legends
Odd, I swear there's an achievement of reaching the 10th level of awesomeness.
By the way, I have a useful screenshot that I took in a specific level of Olympus Maximus, you guys might want to print this:

The achievement is for reaching the maximum level of awesomeness. Which is 11.Haruka wrote:Odd, I swear there's an achievement of reaching the 10th level of awesomeness.
Re: Rayman Legends
Im a bit disappointed to see cheaters on the leaderboards, for some reason I though that in 2013 we wouldn't see that many in things like a leaderboard, specially when the scores aren't realistic. I hope those players get their leaderboards auto-submission disabled or something
By the way, will we have a new sticky thread for Rayman Legends scores or it won't be necesary because of the leaderboards feature?

Re: Rayman Legends
Since I am still not playing Olympus Maximus world, and seeing this screenshot, I don't see anything unusual, can you tell me what am I supposed to see on this screenshot that will help me in future?Haruka wrote:Odd, I swear there's an achievement of reaching the 10th level of awesomeness.

It is indeed unfair. The description on Steam said it can detect cheaters so I hope those people get banned.M3T30R0 wrote:Im a bit disappointed to see cheaters on the leaderboards, for some reason I though that in 2013 we wouldn't see that many in things like a leaderboard, specially when the scores aren't realistic. Ah, the map for that maze level, t'was a neat thing to saunter through, though a pain to do when it came to the invaded version.

Re: Rayman Legends
Seems this game is getting more publicity than RO. I'm glad they're re-establishing the fact that Rayman is a Platforming franchise, but there all still a lot of people I know who are like, "Rayman? OH YOU MEAN 'RAYMOND'S RAGING RABBITS' RIGHT???"
Re: Rayman Legends
Quite a lot of people have no idea about the former Rayman games that were before RO and RL. Some got interested in the franchise after they saw Barbara's boobs in the CGI trailer.
