Now that you mention it, lockjaw is pretty useful... but I still think Heavy metal fist is the best

Ok, my point of view.

From best to worst:

1st: Heavy Metal Fist.
Why? Pretty strong and good in combat.
Why not? It's way short.
2nd: Lockjaw.
Why? Useful, dynamic and long.
Why not? Personally, I prefer the HMF.
3rd: Shock Rocket.
Why? Strong and good.
Why not? Too short.
4th: Throttle Copter
Why? Pretty good to look at Rayman's world from sky.
Why not? Too short!!
5th: Vortex
Why? Nice and it sometimes makes combat easier.
Why not? I didn't like it.

And so it is

Shock Rocket.
The first time you use it, you can hit Globox with it...Doesn't do anything but registers a silly comment. I like aiming at his face.

You'd think something that combustible would kill him.

My favourite power-up is when Ray gets the mega legs (aka Hoodstomper) because it is technically a power-up since it is only temporarily, makes you stronger and have a different look (as well as one badass theme).

Lockjaw is my favourite power because its epic with its swinging and it looks coolio too.

I might as well put my input here as well, my favorite is the lockjaw
Because it's more useful than the other powers and my favourite colors are in the costume.

Shock Rocket.

Mine has to be the Heavy Metal Fist. I mean, the music as it equips it and the look of it is really cool too.

I think my favourite "equipping music" was the Throttle Copter. Another reason for me to be disappointed by its short duration.

Unfortunately that is also my favorite “equipping music”.
Ironically my favorite powers in this game to me have the word to equipping music. Actually, my fave powers list would be backwards if I based on the music. I like HMF but they replayed it how many times? Especially that one time in the last level when it was COMPLETELY unnecessary considering how far you were in the game. Just a waste of space, and wasted potential on several accounts based on how long the powers last.
It’s still one of my favorite Rayman games though

I think the music was a nice touch in that late level actually. That cage is pretty tricky, so it's quite satisfying to finally get the HMF, and be able to break down those doors that seemed unbreakable. The music just reinforces that satisfaction IMO.
