All I remember about him is that his username was either Kelvin12 or Kelvin8 and he hated my guts.

I recall him initially being a prick towards me, but mellowing out when he got a little older.

When you were younger you had really cute posts :3spiraldoor wrote:I recall him initially being a prick towards me, but mellowing out when he got a little older.
Now I'm semi-afraid of you

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
I'm not afraid. Who cares what some person on the other side of the Internet sais about me? No offence - I usually really like reading the sarcastic and sometimes cynical though always ironical posts made by you, Spiral. They make me chuckle almost all the time... even if jokes weren't intended.ikke471 wrote:XD everyone doesRulez wrote:When you were younger you had really cute posts :3spiraldoor wrote:I recall him initially being a prick towards me, but mellowing out when he got a little older.

But if you were to for some reason have something against me and take it out on me - meh, I wouldn't care even a bit. 'Cause I'm nice like that.

True actually. He's almost like a hippy now.spiraldoor wrote:I recall him initially being a prick towards me, but mellowing out when he got a little older.
It's true actually! Look at some of the posts on the first page of my ROTD thread. They were riddled with smilies. It's weird though, it almost seemed as if suddenly Spiraldoor changed at some point, yet I don't remember when. It's actually kind of scary. He's almost literally the exact opposite of what he was two years ago.Rulez wrote:When you were younger you had really cute posts :3spiraldoor wrote:I recall him initially being a prick towards me, but mellowing out when he got a little older.

At least I believe my first posts weren't better either.
Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Haw haw my first posts were riddled with unneccessary swears, crappy sentences and worst of all,
I managed to fricken' misspell ''I''! I mean seriously?
Oh and don't check

Exact opposite? No, not at all. My writing is better; that is the only difference. I distinctly remember when I changed my posting style. It was a conscious decision. I was browsing another forum, and I came across this fellow who made excellently lucid and well-written posts. I realised that most people’s style of writing, including my own, was juvenile by comparison. I decided to adopt this person’s general post style permanently, and that’s what I did.RayFan9876 wrote:It's true actually! Look at some of the posts on the first page of my ROTD thread. ...PLEASE? ;_;
And to be honest I prefer 14yo!Spiral too o3o I mean, it's nice to have nice writing and all but the older Spiral seemed more...human. o_o That's not to say that he doesn't seem human now, but...

Why do you bring up your ‘stepsister’ posts at every opportunity? You claim that you want everyone to forget about them, yet you talk about them more than everyone else here combined.MLII wrote:...^^ Let's move off the topic of what we were like 2 years ago shall we?

Re: Rayman: The Animated Series
Spiral, you have the amazing ability to be offended by almost anyone. Which, because of this post, will probably also be me. MLII just thinks we should move on and decided to throw that in the group - let the group decide whether or not we will.
By the way, on the note of R:TAS, I remember reading in the 'Rayman himself' thread that, and I think this is correct, Cairnie was uploading the series to YouTube? Whoever it was, how's that progress? I'd love to watch the series again as I have literally no clue at all what it was about anymore.
(Except, according to some, that it was about OMG A CAR LET'S DRIVE IT
)

No, I am far more difficult to offend than most people. What makes you think I am offended by anything in this thread?Shrooblord wrote:Spiral, you have the amazing ability to be offended by almost anyone.

Just the general way you phrase your posts make it seem like you're retaliating for some reason. Maybe that's just the tange I give to them, maybe that's just how you write.spiraldoor wrote:No, I am far more difficult to offend than most people. I agree with this here. Spiral I'm sorry to say, but you were a lot more fun before you adopted this new style. Regardless to what you think, your posting productivity here has increased, but at the same time you've turned into an argumentative cheek who always has to be right, no matter if he is right or wrong. If he's wrong, he tries to convince people he's right. If he's right, he keeps going on about how poorly mistaken the other person was.MLII wrote:And to be honest I prefer 14yo!Spiral too o3o I mean, it's nice to have nice writing and all but the older Spiral seemed more...human. o_o That's not to say that he doesn't seem human now, but...
It's not the only difference. You were actually somewhat friendly and sociable before. When you say that others' writings were "juvenile by comparison," I can safely tell you that there's two sides to that statement. One side is, of course, the writing quality and grammar. That we can safely agree always looks better when improved. The other side to that that you haven't recognized is the post content. While there's a bit more usefulness to your posts, you've turned to writing them in such a way so that it comes across as "cold, hard and mean." I'm sure every single person here can agree with me here. Doesn't that tell you something? You've adapted to a mature writing style in the wrong direction. You're extremely hard to make conversation with without receiving some sort of criticism because of others' imperfections, and you ALWAYS have to be right, which is one of the fundamental things that turns people off. Regardless to what you think, this is the way you come across to pretty much everyone. If you say then that it isn't perception that matters, you're wrong. You can't expect everyone to adapt to you, you need to play your part as well.Spiraldoor wrote: Exact opposite? No, not at all. My writing is better; that is the only difference. Sorry for clogging up the RTAS thread with this.

My purpose is not to entertain you. I do not agree that I am an ‘argumentative cheek who always has to be right’; please provide some evidence to back this up, as I’m not sure where these accusations are coming from.RayFan9876 wrote:I agree with this here. What do you want me to do – use more smilies and exclamation marks? Throw in a few ‘lol’s and ‘omg’s? No, I am not interested in making the sort of posts you evidently enjoy reading. I consider your assertion that my posts are ‘cold, hard and mean’ to be silly and hyperbolic; if you want hugs and smiles and puppies and rainbows, there are plenty of places where you can find them. Do not make ridiculous claims that ‘every single person here agrees with you’; there is absolutely no evidence to back this up, so unless you’re willing to make a poll and see if you have yourself a couple of thousand supporters, I’d advise you to limit yourself to real arguments that actually have some basis in reality. I don’t see myself as being difficult to converse with in any way; could you provide some recent examples of people attempting to converse with me and failing due to some flaw on my part? You keep making these sweeping statements without any supporting evidence. You claim that I have a habit of criticising the imperfections of others; as with your other allegations, I would appreciate some examples.RayFan9876 wrote:It's not the only difference. Allow me to be blunt for a moment: I hate your posting style as much as you seem to hate mine. I find your overuse of capital letters, smileys, expletives, ‘humorous’ misspellings and internet slang and acronyms to be extremely irritating. However, I have had the decency to keep my views on your writing style to myself, as I consider attempts to force stylistic and expressive conformity upon internet commenters rather useless. I have realised that your posts are not for me, which is why I usually avoid replying to them. Perhaps you should consider a similar path.
