I'm bored of Dancing on ice, X factor and I'm a celebrity. I want something new

I like hole in the wall  But even that gets dull after awhile... :?

It's something I've heard of but I never watched it, whatever it was. Was it like PopIdol?

Yeah, but with three Norwegian actors who shamelessly ripped off 'De Nattergaale' and translated it all to Norwegian, or "Norwenglish" in the case of the nisses. Great show. The Norwegian version was made back in 1994.

Well, Norwegian is alot like Danish, but i guess the accent must have made it sound strange. Quotes like "The biggest tænder and the grimmest tøj" and "bobobob" might sound quite similar.

Travelling Strawberry's (the Norwegians) changed that one to "The ugliest klær and the longest face". They also changed Olaf's favourite expression "Baredeilig" (?) to "Bærrelækkert", and some other things. The two shows are pretty much exactly the same, though. The Norwegian version is more of a translation than an interpretation.

It actually looks very different. Link.
What first surprised me was the houses. In the Danish version, there's only one house.

Very different would be a long stretch. They're a little different, but it's basically the same show.

I only watched Doctor Who and Wallace and Gromit yesterday. Doctor Who wasn't that good but Wallace and Gromit was funny.

I recorded Wallace and Gromit, but then as I was watching it, it stopped just near the end :(

I watched it too, and funny it was. According to the Mail, it was the program that had the most viewers on Christmas Day.
