Wow, good work, Haruka!

Too bad Rayman was never confronted with that situation in Rayman 2 or 3, that would have been great and creepy!

Thank you! Yeah, it would have been an interesting element in the game if it existed!

That is indeed quite terrfying, nicely done! The poor chicken who laid that egg must have been scared right out of her skin! :P

Hmm, I wonder how a regular chicken would look in Rayman's world...

That is something we always wondered, but would they be anthropomorphic?

That's a good question. With the way they use the bones that should be their wings as arms (with hands/claws) they would be either antropomorphic or something like this, but more fluffy and with a really long beak. Maybe they'd wear clothes, since their zombie counterparts appear to do so (...or are those not clothes?).
Somehow I also keep imagining them with Inspector Grub's head (it's shaped exactly like a Zombie Chicken's) but that makes it look more monstrous than an actual Zombie Chicken :P

It looks like I missed your Rocky art by the way - it rocks! :D

Could be. Dunno if one day I will adventure myself trying to imagine a real Glade hen. Now I am trying to think what I could pick up as a theme for a next painting. Either involving Rayman or not. I am tempted to draw something based in the Knaaren frescoes.

Well, some chickens appear in the educationnal games Rayman Maternelle and Rayman CP.

You can see one of them here:

Wow, that's very interesting! That chicken doesn't look like its zombie chicken counterpart at all, but I'd never seen all these images before, so thanks!

I always found them very mysterious and thought there was more story to tell about the events shown on those frescoes, so I'm looking forward to it!

Ah right, the educational games showed few animals. But I also think they look so so different from the Zombie Chickens. As Droolie said before, I would believe more in a version identical to the anatomy of few pre-historical creatures like the dinosaur he showed or even Archeopterixes (for the wings).

The possibilities are endless. Lately I've been picking up themes to paint that aren't normally chosen by other fanartists to work on. The Knaaren frescoes are a possibility but we never know if other ideas will come up if I am confronted with something else during a gameplay or other information I read. :)

I wonder if it would be fun trying to draw the perspective of a Henchman currently drilling underground trying to get at Rayman from below.

For now I do not think in using Henchmen for a next painting, as I already developed one with Catastrox in it.

I liked your drawings, especially the comic called "Gendoors". The only drawing I don't like is the "Belly Ache" one...

In addition, we share things in common with you: we are able to draw (that is true in a section of the Rayman fanworks forum where I post my drawings), we have got the same favourite game and we live in the Iberian Peninsula since our birth.

The 30th Anniversary release of the original game back in February inspired me for a watercolour to mark that happening. :)

Maybe new Rayman art will appear in future considering I evolved a lot in my technique, who knows...
