Anyway, I've read that Facebook is contemplating charging its members for usage! What a ridiculous, non-thought-through idea.

If that's so then my sister, and every single kid at the college I visited today are fucked.

It's not ridiculous at all. Only natural that they would wish to stop giving free, bandwidth-draining accounts to hundreds of millions of people in these recessionary times...

That's not really a financial cost. And anyway, people won't pay, they'll just turn to other social networking sites.

Can't be no worse that Dreamwidth, a Livejournal like site which you need to pay for to get an account.

I dislike most of those sites. But Bebo in particular. The only thing I can think of that's good about it is the "share the luv" feature.

Well Facebook seems to be more of a news site, Bebo is just a vain gallery of personal photos. And I don't have one as you may have gathered, haha.

I tried to use facebook once but I found it much to complicated, and continued to use myspace.
