Trust me, watch Tiny Toon Adventures. It is awesome (Especially Fifi LaFume, she is so cute and good looking, and that voice!).

I can highly recommend Wakfu, a french flash-animated cartoon, which is currently airing its second season. Quirky fantasy setting, non-annoying child protagonist, likable characters and possibly the best cartoon villain of the past 5 years. I'm dead serious, I've seen a lot of decent ones, but the complexity of Nox is just beyond imaginable.

Also, you'll be quite surprised by the amount of adult jokes they managed to hide from the censors.

My favorite cartoons when growing up were Samurai Jack, Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Dexter's Laboratory, Animaniacs, Looney Tunes, Tiny Toon Adventures, Powerpuff Girls, Billy & Mandy, Invader Zim, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy (even though it was pretty gross), Angry Beavers, Xiaolin Showdown (I used to have a crush on Raymundo), Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, SatAM, Pepper Ann, The Weekenders, Kids Next Door, Spongebob, Danny Phantom, the list goes on and on. Also, I used to watch Batman: The Animated Series with my brother a lot.

As for cartoons nowadays, I mostly watch Phineas and Ferb, and the adult cartoons like South Park and Metalocalypse.

I think this is probably the most "heart melting" (for want of a better word) moment I ever watched in a cartoon:

I know I've established my extreme liking towards The Lion King, but this scene probably is the most touching (in a happy way) to me.

I hated Sonic Underground. I liked SatAM and AoStH, but hated Underground.

BTW, thanks Rayfan9876!

Agreed, AoStH and SATam were good in their own ways, one was funny, whilst the other spawned an epic continuity of it's own, Sonic Underground, well, I just did not like it's focus to music and the lack of main side characters from the games (tails would have been good enough).

A recent study confirms that Sponge Bob SquarePants is harmful for 4-year old kids:

It is in Brazilian so, use Google Translator.

I guess it is also the lack of parental control that makes this happening.

There are some scenes in Spongebob that I think there shouldn't be alloweed for children, I remember one in that Spongebob take a heart with even blood, an that is educational?

PD: Noticed that I didn't say Spongebob was a bad TV serieImage

I admit I do like spongebob, though I haven't watched it in a while, and, to be honest, whilst I do like it, I rarely watch it, I was more into watching most of the stuff on Fox Kids as a child, and at the moment, I'm going through a rediscovery phase of my favourite classic Disney movies.

This one makes me cringe even by my standards.

So rather than embed intros should I make a playlist of cartoons I did used to watch?

I'll be perfectly honest, Spongebob has never even remotely interested me at all. Can't really say why, it just doesn't. Also, on a cartoon note...

That’s strange – I thought SpongeBob was pretty good for a children’s cartoon show. Not any more, it seems.
