Unfortunetly by my side, I don't know what you can do.
If I just had a genuine copy of Rayman 3 for GBA...

Anything that mentions the minigame on Raywiki just says that I need to connect my GBA to Gamecube. I've done that, but nothing occurs. I've gone onto the menu and all it let's me do is play minigames...on the GBA.

It is possible that involves the GBA connection with R3 cartridge inside. It is frustrating that no one still found out the unlocking method.

He’s trying to unlock 2D Madness, not 2D Nightmare. I thought that simply connecting the GBA version was enough to do it.

Oh right, I think it is enough to plug the GBA with R3 cartridge in order to unlock 2D Madness .

That's what I've been doing. All it says is for me to go to the GBA Menu on the Gamecube and the Gamecube Menu on the GBA.

When I go to the menus, all it will let me do is download Bonus games to my GBA.

I remember when I got Rayman 3 for PC, I unlocked all minigames and also had 2D nightmare (Or was it 2D madness).

It's 2D Madness , not Nightmare...

Wiiola is right. Don't confuse the names, because everyone knows that mini-game is exclusive to GameCube.

That, and there is no confirmed way of unlocking it there...
We only have assumptions of how to do that...
By the way, is anyone still trying to perform that?

I've given up already, everything I've thought or have been suggested to try has been done outside of ripping the game and looking at the 3D models for the levels.
If someone were to provide me the level files, it's possible I could open them in 3DS Max, but it's doubtful it will be that easy.

Has anyone tried using CheatEngine on Dolphin to unlock 2D Nightmare? Hexadecimal editing should definitely allow us to unlock the game in the menu, and then to see if it actually exists.

I have no idea how hexadecimal editing works, but I have seen it used (and tried it myself) on Mario Vs. Donkey Kong to unlock 15 hidden levels within the game that were originally planned to be unlocked with e-reader cards.
So, I would love for someone for figure that out for Rayman 3, just force unlock that menu selection and see what it leads to.

Well that's quite simple: you scan the memory of the game, see what changes inside when you unlock the different minigames and extrapolate this information to get access to the remaining ones.

Im currently playing both the games for GC and GBA, problem is that I don't have things like an eReader card.

What's necessary is a GBA-GC cable, not an e-Reader.
The e-Reader is a totally different thing: it reads cards.
