This is quite possibly the best statement in history. He looks pretty unappealing - weird - in the first game.

R3 was the best design for me, perhaps because it was my first? I dunno.

I agree with Raymansuperfan. The R3 design in my opinion was the best.

I like R3's design the best, too. R3HH was not my first Rayman game though, as I'd been following Rayman since the beginning. I gave a more in depth reasoning of why I like that design the best on this thread: viewtopic.php?t=9634

I've never seen the R1 design from back (There probably isn't pictures?) to see if the hair grows from the eyeba... oops, what did I just do.

Fucking hilarious. Honestly, I'm dying to see his hair from the back in R1. I bet it deffo looks like the picture you linked above.

Heh heh, exactly. People always talked about how his hair looked like it grew out of his eyes in R1, but I would've never imagined it to be that hilarious if it weren't for the picture G linked.

R3 has my favorite look for many reasons.

Rayman Origins/Legends is my preference.

Rayman 1 look is the best for me. I dunno why, since I usually hate cutesy, big-eyed things, but something about Rayman's first look really appeals to me. I also really like that old haircut.

The Rayman 3 look would have to be my least favourite. That design strikes me as trying a bit too hard to be cool, with the hood and whatnot. And also that smug, frowny-eyed look he always pulled in the pictures from that phase really... Eugh. The shoes were alright though.

The Rayman 2 look is 'Meh' to me and can wander between kinda cute and really weird. The Origins/Legends look is actually my second favourite, I'm not sure why, it's just very cartoony and lively.

For me it goes R3/R2/RO/R1

Rayman 3 looks the best for me because it looks more like a typical teenager and less cartoony than the others I guess ( not a fan of cartoon much ). He looks more expressive and hero-like. I also prefer the hood any day than the neckerchief. No big popping out eyes like in R1 ( more like his head is just eyes ) and R2. ( I actually have some phobia over eyes popping out so that's not helping. ) The hair isn't some weird square-like hair. I like the shoes too.

Before anyone says that the RO one is a lot like the R3 one, I don't like its wacky style, its just..too much for me.

I think Rayman 2 looks..kinda weird to me, I think its his hair that bugs me out the most. I'm not even going to talk about the eyes popping out.

As for Rayman 1, looks cute, big eyes and stuff, he looks too round though and that third hair part annoys me for some reasons. Also..his eyes are the size of his head.

I liked Rayman 3 the best, I digged his hood and hair. Also, as much as I loved Rayman 1, I never really liked his design in that game to much, Something about his body being a bit too curved at the bottom, and his hair... Rayman 2's design is my 2nd favorite.

Heh, Zepto's list is mine in reverse.

Maybe I just don't like typical teenagers.
