The art though was inspired by Pizza Tower originally, but remember that Pizza Tower was also inspired but games like Wario.![]()
Thanks hehe, and yeah I've heard many good things about Pizza Tower. We're going to try have something ready for the Rayman Alive event so we can showcase a few things, without spoiling too much of course.Crash267 wrote: Sat Oct 22, 2022 4:52 pm yes indeed now I see how cool this game is its much more that pizza tower its amazing keep up everything guysthis game looks' so in-depth

As far as we know at this point, the majority of the main mechanics have been implemented. We still have a long way to go of course, but ever since switching over to Unity we've been making plenty of progress!Hunchman801 wrote: Mon Dec 12, 2022 11:32 pm This looked very good, must we understand the the gameplay is pretty much dealt with at this point?
Good job! Will the whole soundtrack of the game be in a similar style than the one we've seen in the video?Steo wrote: Sun Dec 11, 2022 5:33 amSo as you may know, Rayman Polokurse was showcased at Rayman Alive. This is the video that was showcased:
Thanks! The soundtrack will be similar to fit in with the pixel art style also. It will be all stuff that is possible to play on a real Famicom or an NES with a modification to enable the extra sound channels. Some songs more dark than others, some more lighthearted.Flat Earth Society wrote: Fri Jan 13, 2023 11:14 am Good job! Thank you. We're making the music with a program named FamiStudio. It's basically a DAW which emulates 2A03/2A07 (NES NTSC/PAL) and can have the expansion chips added for extra sound channels, which can still be used on the real hardware so long as the cartridge has the expansion audio chips. We tried to keep the music authentic so that each individual song can play on a real Famicom/NES.DaveRattlehead wrote: Fri Jan 13, 2023 11:58 pm Looks great! I don't know if you've mentioned this at some point, but.... What kind of software do you use to make the music? It is very well done. Congratulations for the work done, keep it up![]()
