Good point about the desert Dumbo! I had assumed that Toad Story was the Desert after 100 years, but thinking about it, it's way too green to be a desert There must be some connection though, cause Toad Story does have a "musical" / wind theme…

I would say Toad Story only fits the musical aspect of the Desert of Digeridoos. The Tower of Babel challenges on the other hand would fit the desert setting much better. Unless ofc this is totally wrong and my memory on Legends is really spotty that is!

Nah, I think you're on the money! I do remember boombo pointed out all the bones in Toad Story could be of dead birds from the Desert, so I don't know…

As for the Desert and Toad Story, there's nothing to say that both biomes couldn't co-exist. Iirc there were portions of the Desert of Dijiridoos that had quite a lot of running water, perhaps those portions greened over the course of the century, whereas drier portions remained...deserty.

It fits the wind as well, but it’s nice they tried being unique

I think the Toads used the "technologies" abandoned in the Desert of Digeridoos , this would explain why the Toad worlds use so many mechanisms related to wind and music, and it also explains why the many desert towers of Babel no longer contain these wind mechanisms.

About the technologies and TTOB mechs

The technologies was the wind mechanisms

And I wonder if the fact that the Nymphs (Aline Louia in this case) have disappeared has anything to do with the devastation of the Digeridoos Desert ?

Nymphs was not in Legends = Destruction of the Digeridoos Desert (Beacause Aline Louia the musical nymph is absent)
This can also be explained by the absence of kings ?

I assume Aline Louia is who we call “Holly Luya” in English, but I don’t understand this destruction of the desert thing

The Nymphs and Kings are supposed to protect their world (like the Electoons) while in Legends they are no present
and in French Holly is called Pizzicatta

Any other French renames? I know Art Rytus is called Garrata Clarik or smth
