Fish and chips is quite shit design-wise yes, but it’s more about the taste!
Good cuisine is all about balance. There is none in fish and chips, you might as well be eating fried butter sticks.Greengoop wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:58 pm Fish and chips is quite shit design-wise yes, but it’s more about the taste!![]()

I'd be curious to hear how you two would make fish and chips more gourmet.Hunchman801 wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:41 pm Good cuisine is all about balance. There is none in fish and chips, you might as well be eating fried butter sticks.
Not that nice and crispy fish wouldn't be great with another side, though.
That’s why there’s usually a side of mushy peas and tartare sauce! But the fish and the chips are fried in a different way, so they still are differentHunchman801 wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:41 pm Good cuisine is all about balance. Given this discussion on British cuisine, and the fact that we were discussing eels at lunchtime at work yesterday, I thought a perfect combination would be to post that Simpsons clip of Wiggum with an eel coming out of his mouth – except I can't find it anywhereHunchman801 wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:18 pm British cuisine does a few things right, pies especially.
Tbh I don't mind, as Razoff is the best character in the seriesPluMGMK wrote: Tue Oct 01, 2024 10:42 pm Oh yes, and posting here reminded me that lyndo's rank has expired and apparently not a moment too soon! I'll take care of that…![]()
After rewatching the Rayman Origins trailer, I think I have to agree with thisHunchman801 wrote: Sun Sep 29, 2024 5:53 pm I think the UbiArt subseries has defaced Rayman much more than Captain Laserhawk ever could.

It wouldn't have if Origins ended up being a prequel to the entire series as it was originally intended. If the story ended up focusing on the maturation of Rayman, a hero with never really had a character arc up until that point (because he didn't really need one), then it could have fitted nicely into the canon.lyndo64 wrote: Wed Oct 02, 2024 2:35 amAfter rewatching the Rayman Origins trailer, I think I have to agree with thisHunchman801 wrote: Sun Sep 29, 2024 5:53 pm I think the UbiArt subseries has defaced Rayman much more than Captain Laserhawk ever could.![]()
