Oh, well, i was asking if the Catholic Church itself permits marrying a fictional character.
I know 2 people who married Hatsune Miku and a Nintendo DS character respectively, so it is possible to marry a character, but under the Catholic Church? Haven’t heard of that one yet :fou2:

We’re talking about a church that only started to allow belief in evolution in 1996 here!

Horrible Histories is meant to be educational, though it's geared towards young 'uns. While I wouldn't class it as a primary source, I'd expect them to have researched the claim.

Most I can find from a quick cursory search is the following: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution ... hn_Paul_II

And if you read that, you'll see that they didn't "allow belief in evolution" in 1996. Pope Pius had taken a neutral stance as far back as 1950. So yeah...

Is that not your deadname? Or do you still use it?

Hans? Is that you?

I’d quite like a German name tbh. Mines just a medium-popularity Irish name.

Jennika is a pretty name! …And apparently a name of a Ninja Turtle character? The more you know :D
My name is Latin, and it’s really widespread around here, so it sucks when you hear someone calling out your name when you realize they are calling someone else

Yeah, I couldn’t imagine being called “Sam” or “John” or something and having to get that every single day :oops2:

Wait I'm confused, so if I met you in real life, I would have to address you as the name "German?" Or did you mean your name was in German and I would not understand it right away.

I think you were pretty clear to begin with tbh. Also sorry, I assumed that was your deadname since I thought it sounded feminine, my bad :oops2:

I’ve only heard the name for women, but I think it might just be an uncommon name.
