The Rayman facebook page just said it "should be on Steam" too so that's another box ticked for some, buuuut I think I'll stick to a physical disc.

Nice, now all platform owners can't make any excuses.
I hope RO doesn't come with Ubi's evil DRM.

If this happens, you may yet get your online co-op...

Of course you can, all you need to do is host a hacked server.

If my computer didnt suck playing pc games I would consider getting it. My computer can barely run those cheap walmart games, and when it does its with a lot of lag. I can emulate up to a ps1 with no problem though :|

There aren't many people who'd play 4-player co-op on a PC, unless if it's online, so I think it would be really stupid of them if they didn't implement an online mode now.

I agree, but I doubt it will happen.

What's your full specs?
I've not really got a beefy pc myself, but it does surprise me now and then.
My specs:
Pentium Dual CPU T3200 2.00ghz
3 gb RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium
Graphics:

Display adapter type: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Total available graphics memory: 1309 MB
Dedicated graphics memory: 64 MB
Dedicated system memory: 0 MB
Shared system memory: 1245 MB
Primary monitor resolution: 1366x768
DirectX version: DirectX 10

One day, I'll save enough to build my own.

I don't think it is Ancel himself, since he's probably working on his next project, be that BGE2 or R4.
it seems with Origins release, Ubi seems to be attempting a proper revival of the series.

Excellent news, as a PC player by default, I'm pleased. This also means that not only RayWiki can get better screenshots of RO, aswell I MIGHT do a walkthrough later.

I hope it will have the Vita content too.

DRM-free? Its about time. Have no fear, Ubisoft.
