In order to play Rayman 3 under Vista, I had to give the program administrator rights.

You know, i still wonder why XP can still run programs that are written for Windows 95 but Windows Vista can't evenr run programs written for XP properly

I've searched everywhere, but I can't seem to find an image of those weird snowmen from the summit beyond the clouds.

But you only have to make a snapshot and then upload the picture.

So I finally got around to playing this game about two weeks ago, and beat it a few days ago. I was going to post this but I completely forgot about it:
Does anyone else tend to have more fun when they pretend this is a successor to Tonic Trouble instead of a successor to Rayman 2? It doesn't help the Doc in TT and Andre both have the same voice actor and that all of the powers come from cans but its the overall comedic atmosphere and pacing that does it for me. I'd say from Summit above the clouds onward it consistently feels like a Rayman game to me humor-wise, gameplay wise, and pacing wise (I'd say desert of the Knarren but the bits where the knarren crack jokes kind of killed it for me). All of the bits before that constantly switch from "This would make more sense with Ed in it" to a Rayman feel.
I'm not trying to knock the game. Its still fantastic and heads and shoulders above tons of platformers, but a lot of the sequences seem to be meant for Ed to me.

About 50.000 should be enough i've heard. You can learn how to get to this score in the Rayman 3 score's topic

We reckon it's only about 40.000 actually, so if you play a fair game you should get in.

Yeah, sometimes we thought it's something with the overall score, but 40.000 should be enough. In my knowledge the door opens definitely when you have reached 45.000

I didn't get it in with 40.000 points

Well, i'm working on my score and i'll get over 50 000 in TOTL anyway.

You can get over 100000 there

I would already be happy if i got more then 50 000. I'm really bad at being second-precise and part 1 needs to go flawlessly.

Are you sure? Maybe it DOES rely on the total score then and not the TOTL score.

This is what I told you a few weeks ago. Anyway, I don't think anyone knows exactly how to open that door.

Why? What was weird about them?
Well I haven't played Tonic Trouble but I see what you're getting at, Lijik. Rayman 3 is a great game but I find most of the comedy is unnecessary. I do like the new 'style' (although the old Rayman 1-2 style was better) but I just think it tried to be too funny that it failed in terms of comedy. Did you stop by the secret Ly and Razorbeard rooms? Those are two awesome easter eggs.

The Razorbeard room would have been much better with real rusty pirates

To my knowledge it opens when you have 45000 at the staircase.

Yeah, when it is like that, I every time had enough to open it.
Sometimes I want to send an e-mail to UbiSoft - but what would happen? Nothing. Or I would get offended by Ubi.
