Goddammit, you can like whatever video game that you want! I don't see why we have to "convince" each other!

Exactly my thoughts. Letting other people manipulate your preferences is bad, dude...

Look at me, I love Mario Sunshine even if my 3ds group bashes me for that, but I don't give a crap because I love how it plays :P

A lot of internet communities have this weird hive mind thing going on, where if you think something different, they'll immediately try to change your mind.

Again, Legends is flawed, but it's sure as hell better than Rayman 3.

Deciding if Rayman Legends is better than Rayman 3 is like deciding if Rayman 1 is better than Rayman 2:

It's no use.

Everyone has their personal preferences and a canon of perfection should not be established in a universe as surreal and constantly changing as Rayman's.

And you Ad... I'm gonna bitchslap you again. You've been a bad boy. :?

Sunshine is without a doubt in my top 5 favourite games.

I wish I could contribute my opinions on ranking Rayman games, but I'd be lying if I said Rayman 1/Advance wasn't the only game I've played thoroughly or actually remember anything of.

Sunshine is one of my favourite games as well, actually.

Look at the character in your signature. That is all.
sergiomonty wrote:Sorry, you lost me there.
The things that I and many others find to be flaws are consistently present in different ways. Since the flaws stick out so much to me, they cause the experience to be consistently (and incredibly) messy and unbalanced in nearly all regards.

I actually prefer saying "Murphy" over "Murfy". Murfy feels like a typo much more then Murphy in my opinion. I believe that none is typo actually. Same how "Teensie" and "Teensy" are accepted. It is just alternative spelling. I myself always say "Murphy" and "Teensie".

I think that Rayman Legends is much better game then Rayman 3. Sure Rayman 3 was a good game but Legends has much better atmosphere, gameplay, enemies, Soundtrack, levels in my opinion.

Many-a-time did Legends come so incredibly close to conveying a beautiful atmosphere where the music, artwork and gameplay all fall into blissful harmony, but it never at any point actually did for me. In Rayman 3, while it wasn't a natural thing like it was in the previous games, for the times it tried to create an atmosphere, it hit the nail on the head. That's why I will likely always find Rayman 3 to be more replayable and memorable than Legends.

Whenever I play a Rayman game, there are always certain parts in each game I can't wait to reach just because of how wonderful they are; take Bongo Hills' rolling greenery, take the first entrance to The Cave of Bad Dreams, take the buildup to the Reflux battle and chasing down Razoff, those are all examples out of many of moments in the trilogy that make me want to go and replay them right away. There was nothing like that in Origins or Legends (except for maybe The Reveal, maybe). There's no stylistic unity in them, there's no flowing beginning middle and end, it's just a big mash of action and random.

Honestly, all I remember from Band Land is floating instruments in the sky and getting pissed off a lot. Don't know what rolling green hills you're talking about.

Well, that was a PC-exclusive area, but it's my favourite:

Too bad it is only in PC Version because besides this, I consider PC Version to be the weakest one.

Unfortunately so. Back then, consoles were far superior to your regular home-kept PC.

Nothing new but
Rayman or Globox? And no fair saying both… Globox

MA: I would go with Globox because he’s very stupid and I think being stupid is more relaxing than thinking too much.
made my day

My first PC was not that great and sound in DOS games was really bad. I remember playing Commander Keen and sound was PC-speaker and it sounded so bad XD.

Nobody "Convinced" me, I thought this myself, but the problem IS, I wasn't seeing it. It doesn't matter, I still really love RL anyways.
