+ After making the decision to come back to Logic, my first love, I decided to redo my Hackintosh with Mavericks (10.9.4), and after a few days of trial-and-error (the usual Hackintosh schtick), I got it working! The only annoyance now is that when booting, I have to type in the bootflag GraphicsEnabler=Yes every time, as I found that the Chameleon bootlist file that initiates custom commands upon boot (so you don't have to type them in every time) is causing it to get stuck while booting. Also, I can't get Ethernet to work, but apparently my WiFi card is natively supported and didn't even require a driver. Logic and all its 54 GB of samples/plugins are downloaded and installed, now to install Komplete 8 Ultimate again.

Considering how your previous songs with Komplete Ultimate 8 sounded like, I'm very impatient . You're a beast for that matter.

+ I'm still writing a new chapter about a story of one of my main characters. It is the first one I ever write, so I was a bit anxious. But just the introduction already takes 3000 words, and even if it's far from being finished, I'm liking it a lot. I don't really know if what I'm writing is great in terms of writing standards and sustained language (it's in French, sorry ), but I am myself amazed by my own abilities to transfer my thoughts into words. I mean, I'm about to graduate as a mechanical engineer, so it's can seem weird. But it works .

+ Finally decided to buy some music while in the US so it's cheaper to ship the albums to my place. I already downloaded some albums in MP3 version. My opinion? Totally worth : my ears are having a blast with the greatest remixes of Celldweller I ever listened to. And The Crystal Method added themselves to the mix, along with the self-titled debut album of Blue Stahli. Man, I don't wanna go sleep now even if I'm working tomorrow, this is so great!

On my next holiday, I'll be going to London with this being one of the prime reasons to go.
