(or i said the name wrong), in the Ps3 Version they made an 'toy' or object, similar to an 'portal' (game thing's), and the player just had to put the toys on it. By other words, Ubisoft could make an 'toy' like that one to every consoles...or not?

The 'Portal' of that game had an USB entry. If Ubi just make 1 type with USB entry too, it would work to all consoles or Computers...I wanted that special levels and the 'Heart Rain' on pc too

. Well, at least i can dream with it

I'd prefer DLC rather than these fidly little figurines. And they'd still get money out of DLC'n alla' that shit on the other consoles.

Me too, however, the toys are likely to happen. I'm pretty sure that the only "wiiU exclusive content" are the platforms that can be moved with the touch screen. The toys have nothing to do with that "exclusive" stuff, they can be easily adapted with a usb "portal" for other consoles.

I don't know what I prefer. the toys must be expensive, and dlc isn't a bad idea

That wasnt my logic. Enough people buying? I dunno, RO actually didnt sell well. I believe that most people prefer Rayman in 3D.

I prefer to know what I'm talking about instead of doing silly figures in front of everybody and making them think that I'm ignorant.

You know what, I used to prefer 3D Rayman. Then I played Origins. And now I just want more. A lot more. Just let Ancel do his work Mammoth, he's sure not to disappoint with his works on the likely 3 Rayman Origins-style games, and by the end of it we'll have both a fully functioning awesome 2D and 3D graphical engine which is open sourced, and we'll also probably have that Rayman 4 game finally which you oh so crave for. Patience is a virtue. Learn to have some.

I prefer 3D, just for my fascinataion with 3D animation, but 2D games are just as great.

Is the UbiArt Framework going to be open source then?
Personally, I loved the Origins style because in some places it really reminded me of Rayman 2. Look at the metal railings in the Mystic Piques levels; they're almost an exact 2D representation of the banisters used in Rayman 2 by the Pirates. Also, the way the engine animates everything and the overall style appealed to me. It's not very Raymanian anymore, but none of the games could ever be described as typically Raymanian - they're all too different from one another to fit into one category.

There have been a few articles on how if Origins selled well, Ancel was going to persuade Ubisoft to open source the software. Just Google "UbiArt Open Source" and you should find one of them.
One of the things which truly amazed me about the framework was just how well it could animate. I was surprised to find that all of the sprites in the game are purely static image files, and the smooth 60fps animations are carried out purely by the engine itself. Hopefully Legends will sell more and Ubisoft will get that boost of confidence it needs to open source the software, because this piece of kit is one of the most impressive seen in years. IMO, of course.

Well, it's one of the first Wii U games to be launched, there's no way it could be a failure

... though it's still a rumour, I mean... a new Rayman game this year? it would be great, but...woah, too fast.

We can think positively and presume that the best stuff were left for Rayman Legends.

So Spiral, you expect the long, sindly-armed character to return to this game? We can go off discussing what it all means to the Rayman universe again!
Also... why a Viking Girl (

)...?!

The fact that it’s a launch game sharply increases the odds that it will be bad, since no one has any experience in developing a game for the system.

There’s no such thing as too fast. I’ll take fifty Rayman games a year if they’re all good.

I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Ill stop complaining about RL and wait for the new E3 trailer. Maybe the first trailer simply showed the worst/less good parts of the game. Maybe i havent seen anything yet. But i have BIIIIIIG criterions especially since its 2D. And i also hope that the Ubis took their lesson and release a PC version along with the others, not months later.

You know, I kind of dislike people who have a grudge against a game just because it's 2D, or just because it's 3D. It doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Anyway, the leaked trailer has been pretty much confirmed as a trailer to show to developers and publishers only... Or something along those lines. Hell, you can even see that some of it is unfinished in there. This proves that it wasn't meant for the regular gamer's eye or viewing pleasure.
And to be honest, I'd say everything is here atm to qualify me a purchase. It looks like Rayman Origins, set in ancient times. To me that's a good thing, considering how much I loved the shit out of the first one. Then they added things which the first one was lacking in, such as online connectivity (Online Co-op isn't confirmed yet, but I wouldn't be surprised at it's inclusion at this point), tweaks to the graphics engine and art style overall to make the game look even better than the last (However that is possible), and additional characters which
aren't just a bunch of Teensie reskins. It looks very promising from what we've seen so far, and we weren't even supposed to know about it yet. At any rate, if you don't like it, that's fine. You're entitled to your opinion. Just please, don't mention it being a Wii U Exclusive again... I don't think I can take another one of those...

As long as RL is longer than RO and was more R2-ish raymanian music, I'll like it.if I don't like the music I'll only listen to the soundtrack before so I know all the tracks and then just turn music off and put some Green Day.Also, I didn't like red lums counting as 2 yellow lums. Yellow lums being collectables didn't make much sense because that would mean the heart of the world is broken again, but red lums counting as 2 questions the fact of them giving Rayman more health. I'd love some kind of life system again, just so you can't lose all the times you want.

At least I'm happier that this game will include online mode. I have Rayman Origins almost since the release date and I haven't tried out the co-op mode, simply because my friends and my small cousin live all far.

That sucks. I tried it plenty of times with my mom and my friend and it's cool. Still makes things very easy.
