What did I do wrong this time?technology4617 wrote:*sigh*DandyGuy wrote:I know that feel.dartofthedavros wrote: - feel like a trash bag for people's emotions, and never get to state my own.
Funny or not, I think basically every joke can get old after it's been repeated ad nauseum, and I think this one ran its course long ago, and it's just a bit irritating now. (I didn't really find it funny in the first place to be honest since it's just a generic meme.) You're also nearly always posting in response to a serious posts, where it feels really out of place, and potentially insulting to the original poster depending on the issue (though I'm sure that isn't your intent). Basically, I just think it's time to move onto a different meme.DandyGuy wrote:What did I do wrong this time?technology4617 wrote:*sigh*DandyGuy wrote:I know that feel.dartofthedavros wrote: - feel like a trash bag for people's emotions, and never get to state my own.

I'm not quite sure that you realize that that makes it worse, not better.DandyGuy wrote:technology4617 wrote:Funny or not, I think basically every joke can get old after it's been repeated ad nauseum, and I think this one ran its course long ago, and it's just a bit irritating now. Does that not make it so? Anyone looking at that would just assume it's a bad joke, since a generic "I know that feel" won't really help the other person at all, nor does it look like you're actually relating to the other person at all. If you know the feel, help, provide advice.DandyGuy wrote:Its not meant to be "stupid and irritating"
Let's not call the police because we just saw a mugging. It doesn't affect us.DandyGuy wrote:and how does me saying "I know that feel" affect you?
Regardless of your intent, it doesn't come across that way at all. Most people wouldn't understand what you were trying to convey, or they would be plain irritated by it (like I am).DandyGuy wrote:Out of context it would sound like a stereotypical use of "I know that feel" But im sure dartofthedavros understood it was not comical or using it sarcastically. I was simply saying (In other words) I know your pain.

I love this feeling, it's a feeling of being at peace with yourself, satisfied and confident with the decisions you've made. Not necessarily impassioned ones, simply rational ones that turned out well. Things turning out well always feel like rays of sunshine!Keane wrote:+ I don't think I've ever felt even slightly confident or happy with my appearance, but today I really couldn't find anything worth disliking. I'm just being honest with my parents now and telling them that I don't like the looks they suggest to me. Feel a little guilty about constantly rejecting suggestions, but I already feel like I look three years younger and with those haircuts/clothes I could pass as an oversized nine year old.
+ I'm actually feeling incredibly relaxed right now.
Well, I'm not so concerned about our relationship actually because there wasn't much of one to begin with, moreso me being able to have this new sibling and him treating someone well. Of course, it would be a bonus if we could end up becoming closer later down the road, though I could say the same for anyone.DandyGuy wrote:Ahh... Finally some good news, I hope it works out for you and your father.
