Well obviously most people do use 'my' as opposed to 'me'. That's why it's slang

Okay yes, I see now. I actually forgot Scotland and Ireland were part of Great Britain for a moment there.

Ireland isn't part of Britian(unless you're talking about Northern Ireland).
