Because the player will play in the same place so no more modells and textures had to be loaded. (i guess)

Ayup, if you use moonjump, you can access areas you should only see during cutscenes, such as the area where Rayman calls out for Globox.

Would Superman count? A skin similar to his outfit was scrapped from Rayman Arena. Alternatively, I think he was mentioned in Rayman 3 when Globox was afloat, though that could have been the Polish translation.

Superman does count indeed, Globox makes mention of himself being like a "SuperGlute" and we have Clark the Rabbid from RRR.
