Re: Rayman Origins
Ok, after a day of rational thought, I've decided to accept the mosaic as an ingame "legend" so to speak.
So it never happened in canon, but some inhabitant of the Glade think it did.
Of course, that's personal belief.
EDIT: Seems like others have gone with this too.

Re: Rayman Origins
Whatsername does not exist. She is an idea of some of the inhabitants of the glade, nothing more.

You wrongly credited Hunch in that article.timoo wrote:Hi, please help me with my new article on RayWiki: https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Bald_Rayman

Re: Rayman Origins
Rayman’s wife couldn’t possibly be a man in drag; look more closely at her and you will detect the presence of breasts, which I can assure you is very difficult to fake convincingly. However, one could make a reasonably strong case that she is Rayman’s cousin.

I am sorry Drolpiraat.
It is true that you edited the image, but Hunchman801 replaced it on the "Who's online?". You should edit the article and rectify this terrible omission.

Re: Rayman Origins
Don't think so: Rayman is not a spirit or something,he's a living creature and they can perfectly ask him what happened.Anyways as sergiomonty said before the game first came out, don't take things as confirmed: it's not even confirmed that the Teensies imagined that so it could perfectly be canon and be true stories.Don't forget that Globox and Rayman are "true" creatures and the Teensies could just go and ask them.Master4lyf1 wrote:Whatsername does not exist. Since when did I say that Rayman is a spirit?TeensieKing wrote:Don't think so: Rayman is not a spirit or something,he's a living creature and they can perfectly ask him what happened.Anyways as sergiomonty said before the game first came out, don't take things as confirmed: it's not even confirmed that the Teensies imagined that so it could perfectly be canon and be true stories.Don't forget that Globox and Rayman are "true" creatures and the Teensies could just go and ask them.Master4lyf1 wrote:Whatsername does not exist. What I am saying is that perhaps the mosaics are merely legends thought up by some of the Glades inhabitants, rather than Canonical fact.
It's practically confirmed that Rayman is a creation of the Nymphs, BD mentions that in-game, so that aspect from the 2010 trailer still applies.
This is a mere personal excuse to ignore that mosaic since I just don't want to accept it.
And yes, the Teensies could just go and ask, and yes, the whole "Teensies make epic story up for Globox" could be rendered non-canon, despite it's mention on the website.
But then, there's every possibility they might not have, it might not have even been the Teensies who are responsible for the stories behind the mosaics.

Re: Rayman Origins
Deep down, we all know it’s true. Rayman was bald, bald, bald. And he had a Raywife.

Re: Rayman Origins
I prefer calling her Whatsername lol Raywife sounds...evil! Like Razorwife
Anyways I'm pretty sure we'll know more about Whatsername in Rayman 4
Re: Rayman Origins
Aren't there more news about the 3DS version of Rayman Origins? I only found one interview of beginnings of February but there aren't novelties at all.
Re: Rayman Origins
I wonder, if that girl Rayman was with is canon, could that mean that there really are other 'ray-people' out there in the Glade?

Re: Rayman Origins
Of course. not. I mean, why did the developers decide to turn the Magician and the photographers into teensies then? wasn't that unneccesary? wasn't that pointless? the only reasonable explanation is that they decided to scrap rayman's species and change them for teensies; that would also explain why they decided to scrap Tarrayzan, his name is a clear reference to rayman's species, so he couldn't be turned into a teensie. This theory, mixed with the return of Rayman's girlfriend makes a delicious bullshit cocktail for my mind, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm yummy.spiraldoor wrote:Of course. Again, how could this girl be Rayman's cousin? seriously, romantic music, holding each other's hands, kiss on bald head. What else do you want to understand that this girl is rayman's girlfriend? a french kiss? hot giggity-hardcore raymanian SEX? Even if the developers drawn hearts all over their heads, you wouldn't believe that they are a couple because it's "just fraternal love" or something like that
