Ah, with a golden fist things are different. If you've acquired the power that energizes your shots (the second one), the spider can be killed with one charged shot!

I just kick the spiders' ARSES...! No matter which one.

I've never killed the spider that appears in the Skulls Cave though. Rayman has to manoevre around a very small area...everytime I try, the spider overwhelms him...

I kill it with two shots.

You still have the golden fist then? Was there one in this level? 8O

Actually, you can get it with a cheat code.

Do you mean the maximum health cheat? It would certainly be useful with this spider.

Well in Rayman Revolution, Rayman gets a power where he can throw several shots each second - it's called 'Rate of Fire'. The Teensies giving Rayman powers for the Lums he trades is a much better alternative to cheats, I think.

In Revolution: Pause game. Select "options" or "sound" or whatever it is. Highlight "mute" but don't select it. Hold L1 + R1. While doing this, tap L2 R2 L2 R2 L2 R2.

After doing that, select 'Megashot' in the cheat menu.

I got the power fist once in the sanctuary of stone and fire and i managed to keep it until beneath the sanctuary of rock and lava .

I don't think I've ever kept the Goldenfist for more than two levels. It's quite difficult for things not to inflict damage at all.
Mind you, I held the one in Iron Mountains until the end^^

I find that sometimes you start losing it without getting hit. You exit a level with two and come out in the next level with 1.

I lost one fist in The echoing caves and one in the sanctaury of rock and lava.

An area where it's impossible to hold a Goldenfist for long is the Lava Sanctuary. When I first played RR this level was hell for me.

Actually, I find that not to be so hard.

I found steering Rayman through the tiny holes very difficult. The area was also very boring, I thought.
