I didn't know about this jump, so I used an alternative approach, which required to take the yellow gems on the balloons to continue the combo and then kill the Hoodstyler and the final Hoodlifter which was shooting it me while I jumped from balloon to balloon and everytime one of the balloons was shot down, I had to restart.

The jump in TFC part 4 is a funny thing. On my old TV-set it was almost impossible, on my new one, however, it's fairly easy.

BTW, I play on PS2 as well.

It seems unthinkable to try and combo the gems on the balloons after Hoodlums, especially when a darn Hoodstormer is constantly popping the balloons. Still, it's interesting to hear about the tricks of the distant past for achieving high scores in levels. Some of Jona's old combos seem quite laughable now, for example the one he devised for the first room in part 2 CF.

I'm not going to play TBOM any time soon, perhaps even never. I was very lucky to trigger the Razoff glitch the first time, but I don't think I'll be so lucky if I were to play again. Besides, I'm fairly happy with a score of 95571.

Thank ya. I've got maybe a little advantage because I've only got 89.000 in BOM. But you haven't finished CF yet.

I would make a video of it, if I remembered how the combo exactly worked. It's such a long time since I played TLOTLD that I forgot many details about the level, especially in part 2 and 3.

I don't really understand your posting . What is your total score at the moment?

You will be higher than #7. I'm currently at #5 and have 823.000. When you get 833.000 you should be at #4, I believe.

In all honesty I think you are both better players than I. It doesn't seem right that my score is higher than yours.

sfn: At the moment I have 809.803. And the players after me who reached a higher score than I are MandM, DTUCC, Nikoss, christiaens, Xenon and you. So I'm the 7th best player in the world.
Xenon: But it's impressive how fast you had get better. You first had 790.000 and then you came quick to 823.000. And sfn came fast, too, to 821.000.

I didn't get anywhere quickly. It took me almost two and a half years to get from 800000 to 821000. I improved quickly between 750000 and 790000. I think my greatest strength is that I always restart after a long pause.

@mostwanted: You forgot jona, he has 839000 or something like that.

Well, that's only because I played SBTC and TBOM at similar times, and these levels had a missing 20,000 points or so. After 830708 I'm going to be screwed - I can no longer make any vast improvements.

No, actually not. Once I had 44.200 (then the crush), but now I have 40.500 ( will be improved). In the Rayman-3-Scores Topic he posted the screenshot, which shows, that he has 44.400 points.

Not so many glicthes in this game as far as i know.

And what does this have to do with anything mentioned in the recent past?

I hope FAB was being sarcastic, as Rayman 3 is the glitchiest game I've come across.
