Re: Rayman Legends
Agh, I'm trying to take advantage of the extra time I have thanks to finishing early, but I can't seem to get onto the servers to play the challenges, bloody aggravating.
Re: Rayman Legends
Well, this game looks in my opinion similar to UbiArt game. Even if it's not.sergiomonty wrote:Don't go too off-topic. We're still talking about Ubiart.OldClassicGamer wrote:Anyone played this game?

What a shame.Squiz wrote:I already had asked an Ubi Ray owner on PS3, and he said me that this skin is only for dev' team.
Re: Rayman Legends
About that, I really don't like how the game just freezes when you can't connect to the Ubi servers while playing a challenge. That's some really bad programming and testing there. But the challenges are quite fun to play, so I forgive themMaster wrote:Agh, I'm trying to take advantage of the extra time I have thanks to finishing early, but I can't seem to get onto the servers to play the challenges, bloody aggravating.

About UbiRay:Should we create a Raywiki page for him?

Ugh, it seems to be that I can't sign into PSN either, this is annoying, I've been at it for a good half hour now.

Re: Rayman Legends
Castle Crashers looks like a UbiArt game and has artstyle similar to Origins, although it actually came out before Origins: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy9HtqZp ... ^This.
Even if it was similar, I guess it is going too far a way from the layers of this topic
Rayman Legends->Ubiart->Ubiart's artstyle->Other videogames with an artstyle similar to Ubiart's Artstyle->Other Videogames that are completely unrelated to Ubiart, and therefore, Rayman

Exactly. The ice and the final tricky treasure were challenging ones for me in the original. If you messed up a "falling icy platform jump", a bouncy lime would now save you. Or in the final run if you jumped too high, no worries there's no more spikes! Mecha No Mistake was by far the hardest level for me to complete in the original because of that one disappearing platform segment. I'd always get crushed by the crusher at the near end of that sequence. But instead they made that part easy.
Anyways I'm trying my best to get all 615 Teensies before the Vita gets updated. Just 32 more to go! I'm really curious to see if they'll remove the character that is to be unlocked at 615 once the update arrives and changes it to 700 teensies needed to unlock it.
Re: Rayman Legends
I will finally be able to enjoy the original gameplay on my Vita tomorrow, as that's when i'll be getting it!

Now, In December, I hope Ubi makes 3DS version (not).

Re: Rayman Legends
i'd perfer ubi-art to take other directions on the 3ds, like child of light and the great war on consoles. maybe a mystery game?OldClassicGamer wrote:Now, In December, I hope Ubi makes 3DS version (not).
Re: Rayman Legends
Quick question:Is there a way to see the amount of lums you took first time you played a level?
Re: Rayman Legends
I don't think so.

I suggest you read this, Ubisoft Montpellier shared it today:dartofthedavros wrote:i'd perfer ubi-art to take other directions on the 3ds, like child of light and the great war on consoles. maybe a mystery game?OldClassicGamer wrote:Now, In December, I hope Ubi makes 3DS version (not).

It sounds good that they're going to work on BG&E2 again, but I can't help but wonder if an engine like Ubi-Art will be capable of a 3D game of that scale. And I hope they're not serious about making a huge game like that with such a small studio.
Re: Rayman Legends
I hope as well since if they make a huge game and game fails, then thats not gonna be good.

Re: Rayman Legends
on the raywiki, has anyone yet started making a page for rayplumber and glob plumber? can start it friday if nobody has at that point. @Drolpiraat already read it, and I do believe that ubiart can be a texture literally drawn on the model and do certain 3d objects, and actually i'd prefer that Ancel's studio has full control to whats going on, so it doesn't end up too out there. if you know what I mean

Re: Rayman Legends
Hm, from what I gather, it sounds like they want to do something similar to 3D worlds, as UbiArt did to 2D worlds, in terms of concept, I'm curious to see what BG&E2 will look like if that's the philosophy he's going in with.

Re: Rayman Legends
I would like to see another 3D Rayman game. We have 3D bosses in this one.Master wrote:Hm, from what I gather, it sounds like they want to do something similar to 3D worlds, as UbiArt did to 2D worlds, in terms of concept, I'm curious to see what BG&E2 will look like if that's the philosophy he's going in with.

Re: Rayman Legends
Personally, if they do want to continue, I'd like it so that the next Rayman title would be the last of the current "stream," I think it's about time the BG&E franchise got the sequel its fans have waited for.
