Received GT2 from eBay, the seller described the listing as “good condition”. It took a little long to arrive here (France -> Slovakia).

I was excited, so I opened the package as quickly as possible. It was well protected (lots of bubble wrap). One bad thing I noticed: the case is cracked.



I’m a little disappointed:

- My father just texted me. He's in England with his parents. Grandpa's in hospital. He's dying, most probably. I may not be able to be there with him when he goes. This is my deepest life regret if it turns out to come true. Pop was always a bit distant - he doesn't like attention much, he isn't very physical. But I can't remember ever giving him more than just a handshake. I can't remember if I ever even hugged my grandfather and now he may be gone by the end of the week. I'm sorry, John. I love you.

I personnally know that: three weeks after I went to the US this year, my grandmother died. I couldn't do anything. I couldn't go see the funeral. I haven't seen any funeral of my grandparents, each time for a reason. It's hard, I'm with you Shroobie.

+ Did a lot of stuff today. Basically: Finding a bag my mother lost on her way to work (including going to the police, going to another police station and filling forms, and bringing it back to her), preparing a driving session at my driving school so I can check where I am, repairing my bike, checking all bikes for tire pressure, tidying up the room where I am sleeping, correcting my motivation letter and sending it to mom, convincing my GF to only speak German with me even with messages, doing some grocery shopping, taking care of my health insurance for the next year (or getting close to doing so), finding some nice job opportunities and getting ready to send applications for them at the speed of light...

++ Day is not finished yet. So I can do even more things at the same time.

Ouch, that sucks Shroob. That actually gives me a bit of an anxious feeling myself, because here in the US I can't just suddenly go over to europe and attend a funeral, but on the other hand, grandparents from both sides are now well into their 70s and my great grandmother is turning 92 this year. Anyway, hopefully things won't be too hard on you, and you'll get through it. We're here for you.

- I'm honestly getting a little pissed at my guitar teacher right now, and I kinda wish I acted more confident and social around him so it wouldn't come as a big surprise if I maybe... confronted him a little bit. I've tried making it really clear that I'm lacking certain knowledge and I'm noticing my lack of it to him, but it's not doing anything. We're playing a song right now that I might be able to play after weeks of more practice, and he literally had me try to play it entirely after going through it just once at the same pace of the actual song. And now he's given me papers that I don't know how to read. Social anxiety is a fucking bitch though, because I know that when I walk in there tomorrow I'm just gonna act like it's cool and shut up during the entire thing again because I'm too unable to speak to someone I've been seeing weekly for a half year now.

- As much as I'd love to get back into DHMIS, I know that doing that will cause me to lose interest in Rayman again. Kind of a shame how my head works, can't have full interest on two things at once. It's always one or the other.

– I'm not getting L'Histoire de Rayman until 8 November.
+ I have most of tomorrow and all of Friday off.

- I love my mum's PT Cruiser, but not when it breaks down on the way to school...
- That hair removal cream made my armpit itch a lot!!!
- My mum's been inviting all the family to my upcoming graduation ceremony, but I'm worried that my grades might not even be good enough to graduate. If I fail both physics and chemistry, I probably wont have enough higher grades to balance it and get a C grade average. It's not so much failing to graduate in itself that worries me most, but everyone else's reactions.

+ Considering the situation we're in, it's good to see all my aunts and my granny again. Everyone lives across the globe and there's not many opportunities that we can all see each other.

+ I watched Haruka's Rayman 1 gameplay earlier today. And I must say, the game gives me a very nostalgic and inspiring feeling. And the Bongo Hills themes relaxes me.

+ Translated stuff for Shrooblord so he can read something when he comes back to NL.
+ Went to a forum looking for job opportunities today. We will see.
+ In League Of Legends, you can buy skins to make your characters look nice while you are playing them. Some skins groups even exist. So yesterday I happened to play a cheerleader skin for a team with two soccer player ones, a goalkeeper one, and a basketball player one.
+ Dunkmaster Darius is out...GET DUNKED!

+ Got Rayman 2 installed on this laptop to make me happy / keep my mind engaged.

+ This week has gone by extremely quickly. Tomorrow is gonna be bit of a drag, but it'll be friday so i'll gladly push through it.

+ Surprisingly, I've come to kinda stop giving a shit about my looks, specifically my height. Really when it comes to attraction and that kinda stuff, I act gay as hell and pretty much dislike every single thing related to masculinity, might as well consider it cute.

+ I can barely contain my excitement!
