Am I the only one that is expecting more details about the rumoured Pokkén Fighters? Please let it be a PKMN Stadium-alike game!

I believe Haruka was talking about this:

As well as that, the Pokémon Company trademarked "Pokkén Fighters".

Going by the screenshot, it looks like they want to make a real time fighting game with Pokémon. Notice how Lucario and Blaziken are both fighting types associated with martial arts, and there is a Fighting-Type Gym in the background?

The camera angle in that really reminds me of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games. And "Pokkén" sounds a lot like "Tekken".

So I predict that there will be a spin-off game on the Wii U that's basically a fighting game with a lot Pokémon. And it will be made by Bandai Namco, which would tie-in with how Nintendo wants to license their IPs to more third parties. Plus, they are already helping with the new Smash Bros, so Bandai Namco can already say they've worked with Pokémon in a fighting game setting.

Pokemon game with Tekken style with Narutimate camera? That would be awesome.

Hmm, I've dabbled with fighting games in the past, but my overall experience is pretty much nada. Seeing as a Wii U isn't on the cards for me, I'll probably just check out footage to see how this ends up.

A mercenary and a demon? Hmm, this is rather ominous indeed.

Yugen Sona could be name of someone working on the game.
Either that or when countdown comes to end some scary screaming thing pops out.

Yeah, a Google search for that name doesn't really inspire confidence. :P

-Clashes with the style of all Smash 4 promo material up to this point.
-Those sword sound effects are free stock ones. I was doing a college project earlier in the year and it involved getting some sword sound effects from a free sounds website. Some of the sound effects on that site are the very same as some of the ones I sampled in my research for that college project. Nintendo would not use stock sound effects.
-There were some pretty gruesome sound effects that were not very family friendly. Nintendo wouldn't do that for Smash Bros.

The "whois" page that Plum just posted is the real definitive proof though.

Also, someone counted to when the timer would end. It would be at 2PM EST on the day of Nintendo's bigger E3 events. However, none of Nintendo's events are on at that time.

Alright, I guess thats it about that.
Anyways, here is unboxing I did of Super Mario 3D World Limited Edition. Can't wait for my Wii U console to arrive as well so I can play it :D
I expecially like that it supports Wii equipment for 2nd player if one does not have second Gamepad. Sadly, I don't have many people to play multiplayer with :/
Got my bro though :P

Multiplayer can be really chaotic and hilarious in four player.

However, four players are terrible for seriously completing the game 100%, especially later on when the difficulty picks up, so you're best off with one or two players for actual game completion. So if you mostly care about getting through the game with a friend, you actually aren't missing out on much in terms of four-player play! :P

Here's a 1080p, 60FPS video of MK8. Make sure to use Google Chrome for this, and set the player speed to 2x.

Well that's the weird thing, 2x YouTube used to work perfectly fine on my laptop, but just recently, it ends up lagging if I put it on that mode. I've no idea what's changed to cause such an occurrence, but it really bugs me.

A free Mercedes Benz DLC kart for Mario Kart 8 has been confirmed to release in Japan over the course of the summer. Nintendo says more details will come soon.
