he has the eyerbrows in the trailer to, but in this video you se him much closer to the face.
I personal don't think rayman's face looked good at all in any of the videos, but it's mostly the gameplay that madders to me. (if they make a new 3D game)

And a little nitpick, I think his hair should be more orange.

Try saying that to the Crash fans, they don't want to buy the new games JUST BECAUSE of his new look. Sure, it might look horrible, or wrong, but it's the gameplay that matters! But maybe it got shitty reviews at shitty review places that judge games by their looks and not by their gameplay.

Hm, while I admit, I despise the redesigns of the Titan's series, I think some of those who hate on it do so in a justified manner, my issue with the Titans series is the complete change of formula, there's little to no carry over from the original Crash design idea, I know some make the counter argument that changes are important to keep a franchise fresh, but, I think there needs to be limit in doing so or you risk making something unrecognisable, and that's my major gripe with the Titans, the fact that, at least in my eyes, if you were to change every asset in that game to something un-Crash like, you'd never have thought it were a Crash rip-off or the like comparing it to all the Pre-Titan's games. Heck, they removed the very items which led to Crash's name, the crates, and the overall feel is different.
I'm not going to say that the Titans are bad, I think the formula was decent, but it shouldn't have been Crash who held it.

I'm quite a fan of atmosphere and visuals. I think they are essential to giving you a unique experience. You can have the most excellent platformer but if it's accompanied by bland, uninteresting worlds I'll have trouble enjoying it. If it's just about a redesign of a character then I see your point.
Having just looked up his new design I gotta say that's pretty horrid though. I at first thought his 2008 look was a fan made image.

That is why I don't like Crash fanbase. It is their fault that Crash doesn't make a new games anymore. As for Titans, when it comes to score and reviews by professionals, it was positive.

Probably Infiltration Station, or Amazing Maze.

All of them.

Yeah, he was even worse than usual in Amazing Maze, due to the much more limited space.

Indeed, balancing an effective avoiding technique along with speedrunning is excruciatingly difficult in the Amazing Maze, so much so, that when I finally did beat it, it was by mere milliseconds.

I've yet to get the last Teensy on that level. Might give it another shot later.

Yeah, who needs good art or fitting visuals? Every game should consist entirely of wireframe models.

+1
Bubsy 3D would have been a masterpiece if the platforming was better.

I tend to have a moment of extreme excitement fill my body when I think about a brand new 3D Rayman and then this army of sadness that erupts over it when I realise it would still have the Origins/Legends Glade.
Seriously? Really?
I like the Origins/Legends Glade. It's silly, but not as fucknuts silly as many of you say. At least Legends tried to be more atmospheric and less wacky.
Many seem to forget that the final boss in Rayman 2 was cartoonish and wacky as fuck. Especially with those crazy legs.
Rayman 3 tried to establish a serious atmosphere with a crazy comedic cast, and that's why it is my least favorite Rayman adventure game. I don't know. I just... prefer Rayman's world to be surreal, cartoonish and crazy but at the same time calm, gorgeous, atmospheric and heartwarming.

Rayman 3 did have some of the most gorgeous levels in the series, though, like The Fairy Council, Clearleaf Forest, and Land of the Livid Dead.

Gorgeous? Sure they were! (Some of them) Wacky and cartoonish? eh... the only thing close to that was the posters of Rayman saying "Wanted". I don't know... I want my mountains of cake, I want my goggly eyes on everything. Even Rayman 2's slapstick had a few nods to early 90's cartoons that helped restore that lack of silly surrealism. In R3 it's just Globox having a weird boner. No, don't say it's André on Globox's belly, because IT IS A BONER, I SWEAR.

I really agree with Sergio on this one. I prefer the silly and unique surrealism in the 1, Origins, and Legends.
