Don't forgot Ubisoft Sofia [Bulgaria] who ported the first RRR to PC and made it into a finicky mess!

I Wish I Could Play the Original Rayman "Origins", the one Michel Ancel showed in some of his videos, with Rayman being created, the spiky fruits, beating up the fire ants, the green golem, Big Mama as a Globox-type creature, enemies having more strength and the Land of the Livid Dead intending to be much bigger like a world, fighting the granny with her shotgun. Oh, and the pink thingies like Lums and Rayman's health bar.

What I'm saying is, I would enjoy if Rayman Origins was more "Origins" and a lot bigger, exciting, more to do, and the Lums being able to buy stuff.

P.S.: Forgot to mention the boss fight against the Dragon Chef, where instead of running into his mouth, you fight him by bouncing off his stomach or jumping upon his snout. And of course, the incredible scrapped music.
Also, the propeller ability, but I don't know how that'd work with Teensies.

I completely agree with everything you just said. Plus, it should have a big story, proper level endings (the teensie photographer was better) a better world map like the one in Rayman 1 or a place you can explore like in Revolution, more and better suited music, it should advance and play like Rayman 3, instead of New Super Mario Bros Wii (by which I mean it should play more like Limbo, it should advance in story and other things as you go on throughout levels) actually, all levels should actually have some story elements to them, such as talking to people and helping them like in Rayman 2. I think they should have made the game not just centred around friction and lum collecting. Instead, imagine it as Rayman 3 or 2 but with new worlds and as a 2D side-scroller. That's how I wanted Rayman Origins. (I mean like, slower paced gameplay, bigger variety in gameplay, big set pieces and varied action in levels, interaction with characters) Does anyone know where i'm going with this?

Also, a bit off-topic, sorry, but what's with all these weird signatures and pictures? they're just random. And they creep me out. Sorry.

What about them? :P Signatures define us as individuals. Some are a little strange, I agree (*coughdeslife*), but they don't really bother me.

I agree Spanex, but some of them are just weird and unfunny. Can't remember which ones though. Btw, I LOVE your Rayman artwork :>

It probably doesn't work because you need administration permissions to really write in the program files directory.
So try copying the bundle_PC.ipk file to a new directory in a place where you usually save things, then extract the files from the zip into the same directory, and follow the guide. After you've rebuilt the bunde_PC.ipk file, you can copy it back to game's directory and overwrite the old one (make a backup first). :)

Does the texture "hack" works with the full version? Because I plan on ripping some Moody Clouds textures or my future sig.

No need to rip the textures yourself. Droolie gave us the full pack of sprites already! :D
Drolpiraat wrote:I finished the ninth and last texture pack! Here's a list of all the texture packs I ripped.
1 - http://www.box.com/s/6jj6rql5af2l4m3ghe56
2 - http://www.box.com/s/ilsex758tacbeutd65h8

9 - http://www.mediafire.com/?qc8zm5qyh9cbzil

This last texture pack includes:
  • Scrapped stuff
  • Important stuff like Teensie skins and Murfy
  • The rest of the unimportant stuff
Here are the extra sound effects I found inside the preloaded files, in their original mp3 format: http://www.mediafire.com/?8sa9s70wtp6p11g
They're preloaded because you can hear them often in the game.
Here's the copy of the script I found inside the preloaded files as well: http://www.box.com/s/0i90udtlgg1niqgy6n0t
It seems to be different from the other script that was on the final game's disc, but only for the German and Dutch versions which were (I think) incomplete in the last one.

EDIT -> Replaced multiupload links with mediafire links.
We really should have one single thread to store all these things in one place.

Pretty much all of them. :P They were ripped alphabetically by texture name (mostly) so not sorted by worlds at all.
