Oh so you could use "I can't remember THE one we used" because there was only one. ;3

But we don't know if there's only one

Well I think the image in the avatar was made by Ubisoft, because I doubt anyone's zoomed in on the Squab, then taken a photo.

I might have done that ^^

It was probably taken as a 3D model snapshot under game developement, because I doubt they zoomed in on them that much, looking at their lack of knowledge about their own score system..

What do you mean with this? Are you talking about the strange glitch that allows points to exceed 100,000 in certain levels?

No, mainly the fact that the developers didn't meant to make the game's score system so complicated, after the HOF competition there were strange tricks found to give extremely high scores (and glitches as well yeah)..

Glitches were indeed faults, but I'm pretty sure the complexities in the scoring system were added intentionally. For example, there is a six second time frame after defeating a Hoodlum, and 2 for getting any other object. With two different amounts of time, it allows the player to consider new ways to approach combos. I'm fairly sure it was intended.

Isn't it 2.5?

No, I think 2.5 is stretching it. It's probably not exactly 2 seconds, but basically it equals the time it takes Rayman to zoom in on a Matavu (once the spot has been located obviously).

Man, I wish a game as magical as Rayman 2 would happen.

I couldn't zoom a matuvu (and not a matavu

) in 2 seconds anyway xD

It's very difficult, but it can be done if Rayman is positioned correctly.
The following video wasn't made by me, but it shows how the Matavu can be comboed.

You weren't ignored, I read that point alright
I've got into the habit of calling it the Matavu, you see.

Oh well, I may start to call Rayman Adolf as well

Matuvu doesn't sound very English, though. ^_^

Probably because the original term is French xD

Really? Is there a translation?

As far as I know, the term matuvu is used in both languages. There might be some unused name though, just like the Teensie doctors.
