I use Avira and it never lets me down and never warns me of a fake virus. Go Avira! It's free too! Naturally, you get a better version if you pay, but it's fine in the free version as well.
Also, RayFan, 1500 FPS? 1500 FPS? I believe my eyes would melt from that. Though I'm fully aware a framerate of 1500 is virtually impossible on any graphics card as of yet.

I said 6500, not 1500.

I'm wondering, if Tings are now just bubblized lums, I mean think about it, Tings are small bubbles with fairies in them, and Origins has Lums in bubbles that do the same sound as tings (even playing tunes if collected in order). And Lums were ret-conned to be fairy like.

Sure, Tings and Lums are found in bubbles and make similar noises. But how does that make them the same thing?

Sure, Bzzit and the pink mosquito have similar tasks and both take you across water, but does that make them the same thing?

I think the fact that Tings are 'tiny fairies' was a bizarre ret-con made in the GBC version of Rayman in order to make the story more epic and Rayman 2 like. There were also other changes made in that game. I don't really think it's official
As for Lums, they were always Fairy like - I think that's the idea behind them

Holy fuck fuck fuckity fuck
Is ANYONE known with the program Texmod? If yes, check this. If not, CHECK THIS.
I can actually rip textures out of the game, photoshop them, and load them on the game. WITHOUT ANY HASSLE, TUTORIAL OR DROLPIRAAT (sorry buddy ). It seems that Texmod supports Rayman Origins. I can do whatever the hell I want with this. <3
Texmod is a third party program. It doesn't support all games, but I'm surprised it does here!

Yep, I just like to be extra careful on Troll Day. Anyway, that's a cool thing.

No problem, I have the worst timing ever!
If anyone wants to just have a go at it, you can find the program (and a quick guide) here: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Texmod
It's a third party program and it might give false virus alerts, but just to make sure, you may want to scan the files before you use them.
As for the video, here!

So, if I understand it right, this can be used to apply textures to models? And how hard would this be? Could I take the red Globox skin, apply it to Rayman, and then Rayman is coloured red?
That seems too good to be true...?

Not exactly. Any texture you take using texmod will remain stuck on the model it's used on. That means if you ripped a Rayman texture, you can't apply it to Globox.
But if you want to make Rayman red, you can! Also, if you pasted the Rayman texture on top of your Globox one, Globox would in fact get a "Rayman" skin. Just remember the texture you rip can't be assigned to another object.
It'd be wise to save your ripped textures as BMP. With Photoshop, you can change your texture's transparency as well using the channels window.

Unbelievable. Who would want to mod this game anyway.
