If you took them whilst the SD card was in, it should have defaulted as the storage location, so hopefully your pictures will be safe

+ Reached a new rank
- Don't like the new rank
+ Made a second "bank" account for saving tings so I can stay the same rank
- Having difficulty with the Mega Man 2 final boss levels as I'm not using quick saves

+ I want to do the same thing as Amb did, we're like brothers?! :boon:
- Final test of the year in 2 days.
+ I am going to finish school in 14 days. So hyped.
- Next year I will be in High School. It will be the worst thing ever.

You're going to finish school? Good luck on your test!

+ Transferred tings to my other account, so now I'm legs again!
- I'm really cold for some reason, I'm shivering so much it's making it hard to type, and it's not even that cold around...
- Got lots of homework I have to complete for tomorrow, including an English essay on Macbeth... Why is English even necessary for getting jobs like... Like anything? It seems important at first, like you require a wide vocabulary to make communication easier, but why would I need to know how commitment is a common theme among Shakespeare's works? What the buttocks?

– It is insane. I remember complaining in this very thread before about having essay after essay to write about Macbeth. I can't say I know why it's so important in the curriculum.
+ That said, I am glad that I got to study that play, I really like it, and probably would never have read it if not for school.

I'm going to finish my new rotating sig soon, that includes my current one. Out of interest, what did you use to make your sig change?

-------- My world's falling apart. My family has found out about my attempt of suicide and now there asking questions. I just want to be left alone.

Seriously? Why would you do something like that? There are so many good things in life, I seriously don't think it's right to just attempt suicide...

There's many depressing, yet important factors as to why I did. Only one have I listed in the Daily Doldrums topic, but I really don't want to talk about any others

- Still have to deal with a crappy math "class" and a tutor who doesn't try to understand how I learn.

+ I was commissioned by Remi Gazel to do some promotional artwork for his musical revival.

-/+ I think I may have severely undercharged, though. But I still feel happy to have done some work for him. He's a real sweet guy.

Hey McMelon, your family only asks questions because they care about you. You do realise that, right? You want to be left alone but they want to talk to you because you are not alone. They want to help. They want to make your life better. If you shut them out, they can't help you defeat the demons that have their grasp on your soul.

And if I'm wrong about your family - I truly do not know what situation you're in -, then know that we will fulfill that role instead. You can talk if you want to. You can cry on a shoulder here too. You can be distracted. Whatever you need, champ.

====

As for the importance of Macbeth... if you do not know why Shakespeare's works are so important to the English language and its culture, then I don't feel like I want to talk to you. :mryellow:

In all seriousness though, the poet was a bloody genius. It's an important part of the curriculum because school wants to make you realise that. It wants you to focus intently on what he did and not treat it like 'just another assignment that's worth a couple of points' which is probably why they make it something that's worth a lot. Or spent a lot of time on.

Now begone, wretched naysayers an' revel in the songs of thy souls, lest ye be lost - forlorn art thy quandaries on if't be wise to shy away from the minds of thy ancestors. Doth I weep for thee? Oft, aye I do. For thou art lost to obscurity, should ye harbour abandon t'wards shunning this world's greatest of minds.

Yeah, I know why Shakespeare is important, but my point was why is he important in the field of, say, science? How about engineering? Even graphic design? I was shown examples of jobs of these subjects where a certain English mark is required, and that mark can only be achieved by getting good marks in tests about Shakespeare. Is he really necessary in those fields?
I wouldn't have thought so...

Well, that's the part I agree with, though I do agree that we should all learn to appreciate Shakespeare. Problem is, many students end up hating him. :?

I don't hate him, I just think he's unimportant in anything I'm interested in, so his plays are useless to me. I don't really like Shakespeare's work anyway. I only look for a good story, the diction isn't that important for me when it comes to entertainment.
