++ Cleaning the room today I discovered my old pink clamshell DS. And inside it, my physical copy of R3 GBA! Literally, this was the first game I ever owned for myself.
++ Playing it on the clamshell and weeping.
-- I no longer have my DS charger - it's got full power right now, but this is basically the end of its life.

Oh, the fat model, oh boy. GBA games are far better experienced on the GBA SP, having to look down at one screen or up depending on what you set it on kind of irks me.

The SP was my first console. Loved it, definitely my favourite GBA version out there, but it went to my sister and then on to her friend etc...

+ There was an annual Christmas celebration going on at my old secondary school so I visited. I ran into literally everyone I possibly could have that I knew from there. It was great seeing my old friends and teachers again. It was also strange being an outside observer of the high school atmosphere... suddenly I got what people mean when they say 'High school sucks!'. I never had that feeling when I was on it, but just today, the social pressure in the air was tangible, almost like the very air was made heavy with crazy teen hormones.

+ Might be able to finish up my character rig for Jano today... oh boys the excitement!~
+/- Not particularly looking forward to the skinning. It's easy enough, but tedious and time-consuming. Also, because of the way Maya works, it will require a LOT of foresight and planning - not something I'm skilled at while working with the program, because I'm still relatively new to it.

+ It's the Christmas holidays for me!

- Got my entire SOTM entry planned out and know exactly what to draw where, but can't seem to get started on it. I'm also tired. And hungry. I think I got a bug. Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.

- My dog went missing in an industrial area last night.
+ He was found again this morning, oddly enough, by a family member who didn't even know he was lost.

- I'm starting to get the feeling that social anxiety is going over into BDD. I can't say I don't like feeling slightly less anxious these days, but I'm now stuck with being unable to go five minutes without checking my hair. I stop at every door in a hallway to look at my reflection, and keep going to water fountains to try and make it look better. I don't even know why, but I'll like how it looks, and ten minutes later my brain just goes "it's terrible and people are noticing" and even though I both know it's not true and that I wouldn't really care if anyone did, it bothers me and I need to check it.

- I feel really out of touch with reality again. I feel like I should get some sort of diagnosis to check for depression, but there's absolutely no way the school nurse will help me without contacting my parents. It's this endless cycle of feeling uncomfortable during the school hours, then at night I let it all slide down and I feel comfortable for a bit, and then once it ends it hits me that I'm gonna have to go back to how I felt earlier and I suddenly realise just what a fucking weird situation it really is. And it just goes on. I can feel suicidal right now, and then tomorrow I'll go "why the fuck did I write that" and then that night I'll suddenly know exactly why I did.

+ But, on the bright side of things, I've got one day left until I get two weeks off, and it's coming at a very convenient time.
