Hey, I just realized this. Ryu is a new DLC third-party character and he got a stage! This confirms that if a new third party character were to make it into Smash, they get a stage based on their franchise.

Im very fond of this fixed version of Little Mac.

So according to Sakurai, all future DLC characters will be fan service, meaning they all be from the Smash Ballot . And he said that there'll be several new characters. So Rayman has much of a chance than ever!

I think I'd like to fight in the hub of Rayman Origins, but I think it would somehow look a bit like the N64 Smash level of Kirby. (forgot name lol)
Now that I think of it, yes, the hub looks a like with Kerbe.

Also, I noticed the eyebrows on Ray's eyes. BURN HIM ALIVE

I heard Shantae had made it into the DLCs. Any news on Rayman's chances?

I mean, keep in mind that Nintendo doesn't even need to acknowledge it to themselves that as long as they exist, there'll be consoles with Smash on it. You can keep adding the most wanted character into DLC, but wouldn't it be much more logical to pick the top 2-3 voted from the ballot and save them as the characters to announce the next title with? Though I'm not sure if Shantae is that.

If that's how they're thinking, Waluigi is more likely than King K. Rool.

No he's not : he's already an assist trophy. He won't get the promotion, per Sakurai.

The Shantae thing was only a tease. Don't believe everything on the Internet, dummy. Rayman's chances are looking good as of now to say personally. He's one of the most likely third party candidates, if not the first.

Hes the most requested character. Maybe Rayman will appear in Smash 5 or 6 or 7.

Will there even be Smash 5?

Of course it matters. Rayman most likey wont be winning a Spot in the DLC. But perhaps next game. Assuming the NX is not gimmicky trash.

And why wont he be winning a Spot? I can see him in Smash as a Ballot DLC, It's just a matter of time.

Dandy's just being a big ol' dumpling. Banjo is very unlikely to arrive to Smash. The Smash Ballot is more like a survey than a ballot.

Banjo deserves it more in my opinion. He absolutely would be in the game by now if not for the buyout.

He doesn't place in the top 5. I guess he could win assuming there's a top 10 list and no licensing issues.
