Google + really has screwed a lot of parts of YouTube, as someone who wants to eventually make youtube videos, just having a channel and making it is a total pain in the ass.

It's not that simple, once you're on G+, you're stuck on it, if you try to delete, it'll take your YouTube with it, it's become a deep parasite that our accounts can't live without now.

Hm, you'd have to change the actual name of your account to do so, the reason I come up as Master4lyf1 on G+ is because that's the name of my entire Google account.

It's a lie, it does not delete YouTube account. I went on G+ 5 times on my account and deleted it.
