UbiArt have added an annotation to the trailer on YouTube. It now contains a link to their Facebook page. Terrific stuff.

This would be an excellent way of tying Rayman 1 together with Rayman 2, and it would make perfect logical sense. If only UbiArt would think of it.
As much as I laughed while reading this, it's actually a clever idea.

This is better than Dumbledora. *headshot plus 50 stabs to the face, most of them by Serza*

Ahah funny how I was just lurking this thread and I get mentioned.
That's actually a pretty orsum idea. So with that logic you're saying the Robo-pirates come from another planet?

Then why is the ship so full of Globoxes?

I hope you are being sarcastic.

Well, I think everyone knows that the Robo-Pirates come from other planet.

And the Baby Globoxes are only seen in Warships in the end of the Iron Mountains level, being rescued from the Pirate Mines and when they return to home with Uglette.

‘Panic in the Chamber of the Teensies and the Fairy Council: Robot-Pirates
from deep in space have arrived, determined to conquer and enslave their entire world.’ That’s pretty conclusive stuff. Not to mention the fact that Razorbeard returns to space at the end of the game. The baby Globoxes are onboard the Buccaneer because they were captured during the duration of the game, or possibly even earlier (at the beginning of the game, the invasion is complete).

I also forgot to mention the Buccaneer too...
Serza, did you really played Rayman 2?

Aye I played the game, I just don't look into it so deeply.

And it's been a while since i've played it.

Does anyone know a release date or an estimated release time? I know it's supposed to come out this year, but is there any news regarding this game that has been slightly more specific, perhaps stating something I've missed out on? Meh, I honestly really couldn't care if they released it now or in December for that matter. As long as they use the time to make it a better game I don't see why it matters.

UbiART has been very quiet about Rayman Origins. No further details were revealed since the E3 trailer exibition and the blog's creation.

That's a shame, they should release new information now and then to keep people interested. It has been too long since the trailer, I'd assume lots of people that wasn't into the series would've forgot about the trailer by now. If only they had gradually revealed more of the game that would probably get them some good amount of publicity on gaming websites. If news kept popping up on a monthly-basis I'm sure more people would've gotten their eyes opened.

I also believe they want to keep the game's details as a surprise.

1. It's 2D.
2. Continuity errors.
3. It's being released in
episodes as
DLC.

Seriously, check out ubiart.com.
4. Not enough characters from other games. Where's Murfy? THE TEENSIES? No, they can't leave out the Teensies.
We finally get a new Rayman game, and it's so different it may as well be Earthworm Jim

Murfy was not in Rayman 1
Teensies were not in R1,
Its 2D becuase its before Rayman 1 plus 2D>2.5D>3D

What point are you trying to make?
RaymanOrigins wrote:Its 2D becuase its before Rayman 1
This makes absolutely no sense. Are you suggesting that the universe physically morphed from 2D to 3D at some point in the timeline? That’s ridiculous.

You are a silly person.
