Now I feel like retracting my confirmation of the badassity of his previous post.

Though I really love the Japanese Sonic X. And we are getting a new Sonic cartoon, so hopefully that will be entertaining.
Considering that it will be made by same people who produced crap known as MLP, I don't know what to expect.
Woah, didn't read that before. Respect other people's preferences you piece of shiieeaaht.

Respect bronies. If they like their stuff, let them like their stuff. I'm not a brony myself, but geez, someone needs to be more respectful.

and since my question doesn't seem to have been answered yet how do i get discoray. my wiiu hasn't had internet for the past month so i dont know, was i supposed to get a code? have i perminatly missed it?

Meh, leave 'em be, I know some are rather forceful, but that's just attention seeking, raging at them only satiates it.

The whole thought of a new Sonic show seems a bit bothersome, but we'll see.

I never insulted MLP fans and said they are wrong for liking it. Heck one of my good friends is MLP fan.
I just hate the show.

I never insulted them either, I'm alright with anyone liking whatever they want. I find the drawing style for the ponies cute but I wouldn't watch it, not for me.
I just hate the fandom.

I find it rather ironic that the new Sonic show will be by the creators of MLP, the two worst fanbases come together!
Now all we need is a Homestuck show to finish the topping.

As for Ly, I know what you mean Sergio. The reason why those features wouldn't work is because large body parts =/= beautiful person for everyone.
sonicbrawler182 wrote:I'm sorry, but when a guy has 600 odd kids, and a wife too, it's not hard to see why someone might think sex happened somewhere. I wouldn't of made such a connection if only one was referenced/shown in-game, but both are.
That's how you can interpret it, but it was not the intention of the developer's to relate it to sex.
sonicbrawler182 wrote:The female Glute in that picture was wearing a bikini, that's no more or less than what the nymphs wore.
But I'm pretty sure most people didn't log in to Rule 34 for that. :/
sonicbrawler182 wrote:The sex bomb video easily makes me interpret a pronounced sexuality in Rayman (though I consider it non-canon anyway. Still, my point was that they used something sexual to market the game).
If anyone who watched that decided to go out and buy Rayman 3 expecting sex then their fucking stupid.
That last comment....at what point did I ever insinuate someone would think that?
You can try and make the past sexual references in Rayman seem milder, but they are there, and I'm not the first person to think Globox and Uglette might have "gotten busy" prior to Rayman 2. Remember, glutes are meant to be "frog-like". And frogs reproduce like crazy, and they reproduce sexually. If you put two and two together, it's not hard to see how there was a clear implication of sex between the two.
Also, how can you prove it was not their intention to relate it to sex? I'm not going to claim it was their intention, but there is way more evidence to support that it was there intention. Ancel himself is proof enough (i.e. the same guy who immediately thinks "PORN" when asked what he would compare his latest masterpiece to), really, but I won't try to say it was the intention. But the proof to support the notion that it was is NEAR definitive.
Sexual references have been around in Rayman for quite a while. Why? Because people find sexual references funny when done correctly (which the old Rayman games did).
Bodacious females have been around in video games since forever. Why? Because it's marketable, and if it isn't the main selling point of a game, it's often considered an amusing touch (the latter applies to Rayman Origins).
And Rule 34 is not a reason to be bothered by bodacious characters in a kids game. On the other forum I am on (a Spyro the Dragon forum), I made conversation with a fairly well known Rule 34 artist more than once, and let me assure you that the reason she makes Rule 34 art, and the reason other artists do it, has nothing to do with attractive characters that compel them to make raunchy art. They'd still do it if the character looked repulsive, or normal. Which is to say, I wouldn't be surprised if there was Rule 34 art of Globox and the paper-bikini glute.
I don't want to debate this subject any longer, but seriously, characters with attractive bodies is nothing to get uncomfortable about. It's also nothing to worry about the kids over.
And while I understand that being told there are sexual references in a childhood classic might be uncomfortable, it shouldn't surprise you. A lot of kids games/shows from the 90's were full of intentional adult humour, because kids in general were too innocent to pick up on it, and adults understood why the humour was there, and thus, didn't complain about it. Johnny Bravo (a Cartoon Network show in the 90's) is a perfect example. I watched that all of the time when I was a kid. I used to think the show was about Johnny trying to be recognised as a respectable person, and that the reason he chased down beautiful women was so he could have a nice wife (because people would respect him for that). Jump forward to when I became a teenager, and I realise that the show is LITERALLY about a guy trying to get laid, and nothing else. And nearly every line is a shameless sexual reference.

I explicitly avoided the video for over two years, thinking it was unofficial, and just now having viewed it, I believe avoiding it was for the best, and frankly, I don't think I ever want to see that again or credit that it ever existed. Seriously, what the heck did I just watch!? Or more importantly what was going on at Ubisoft headquarters that day?

I personally just find the Sex-Bomb video funny, nothing more. Kinda like the 4Kids US National Anthem.

The first time I watched it I enjoyed. I enjoyed it so much I went and downloaded the song that was featured in the video.

I'll come back to your reply sonic. I'm too lazy to write things about sex and rule 34 right now.
Knowing Rayman 3's humour, I'm surprised anyone is surprised.
