Pretty much, unless you believe we have a chance of attaining immortality.

Ah, well, I'm still pretty young, have a bit of a time before reaching elderness and I count on the progress of science to invert the aging process. Since it was successfully done on rats I'd say it is only a matter of time, which is an resource I still have in large amounts.
And I thought you were talking about the death of the community.

The community could conceivably go on forever, or at least for as long as intelligent life continues to exist. Also don't assume you have loads of time, it could all end unexpectedly (please God it won't).

I also wonder if I will see any major breakthroughs in senescence research during my lifetime. That could be rather interesting.
