Thank god for that. I was scared of what I might come across in Tricky Treasure #10. But 9 really is hard, I think mostly because of all the spikes and underwater creatures popping up everywhere. I especially hated when I jumped to high on the land part, and hit the curving spikes. Sea of Serendipity's TT isn't too hard, aside from the glitched out bit at the end.
To be honest with you, there's nothing that bad in Tricky Treasure #10. I managed to complete that one in maybe 5 or 6 tries? Which spanned about 20 minutes possibly? But the Angsty Abyss one? Probably at least over 20 (If not 25  ), and probably at the least took about an hour and a half. I might be exaggerating there but I do agree that Treasure 9 is the hardest of them all. Maybe #10 is supposed to be a breather level of sorts. I mean a breather level for Tricky Treasures, of course. :P

Yeah, I have to agree. Those damn spikes!

The first time I beat Rayman Origins, I was surprised how easy was the 10th Skull Tooth. I'm serious, the one I had a hard time and found the toughest was definitely the Angsty Abyss one.

So I put a video of me and a friend of mine (Sadly not registered on this site) playing through "Geyser Blowout" on render. 9 minute video, takes an hour long. First reaction: WTF. While I waited for it to finish I decided to brave the Land of the Livid Dead, because I knew it would take quite some time to actually beat. It took an hour of me getting very close to frustrated, but I got there in the end. I somehow think that paying more attention to the music in a game calms me down and stops me from getting overly frustrated with a game. Oh, but just as I reached the boss at the end my Laptop crashed. :( It likes to do that when it's least convenient, for some strange reason.

Haha, I easily had the most trouble with the Luscious Lakes Tricky Treasure. That was a livid forty-five minute nightmare.

It's probably because the level is so speed oriented that listening to the music makes your fingers and mind develop a pattern accordingly. And since Origins is very good with its music-gameplay synchronisation, I would almost say that it would be twice as hard without the music.

This has to be true because more than once have I seemed to wake up from a musical trance, look at the screen, then my hands and wonder 'what the hell am I doing?'

That's debatable, but for me that one was the 2nd toughest Tricky Treasure. I also took a while to beat that one.

You know what. I dont have the annoying Pirates Treasure glitch in the PC version. I played that level many many times to make it sure. THATS AWENSOME!!! IT MEANS THAT PC PLAYERS DONT NEED TO DEAL WITH THAT! Or has someone else encountered it on PC version?

I encountered that glitch, though I thought I just wasn't being fast enough and so I just kept on going. Didn't seem too hard even with the glitch in place, tbh.

What glitch do you mean?

It's something about the mast falling down and when it does it moves the camera so far to the right that your character dies instantly. And then you have play the level again.
I didn't find it that irritating, tbh.

It's probably the one at the end of the level. I've suffered constantly from it. A pillar is supposed to drop but it doesn't, forcing you behind the screen and killing you.

Eddit, how many times did that glitch occur to you, if I might ask? I had it coming back every time until I started a new game, and that was not the best experience. So I wonder how it couldn't have annoyed you.

Maybe it's because I played it on an emulator? I haven't experienced that glitch...

I didn't think it was a glitch when I saw it tbh, so I just thought I had to try harder. I've managed to beat every level in the game in one session (Per level, of course. :| ), so I just kept on playing the level until I beat it.

I'm beginning to think it wasn't the glitch you were dealing with. Did the pillar drop or not?

Wait, so that isn't the glitch? Hm. I looked up a video on YouTube regarding it and the pillar dropped but then killed the user instantly. Maybe t wasn't the glitch then.
It was this video I saw that was about the glitch. The part at the very end is what happened to me many times during the playthrough. I guess I was wrong then. :|
(Now how do you embed videos in this thing?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMogYyIEzgc

Yeah, the glitch I had was where the pillar explicitly did not fall. And this kept going on until I restarted the game.

The glitch you had is different but essentially it does the same thing. Notice that at 1:08 the tricky treasure begins to act funky and then runs very fast. Thanks to that the screen tries to catch up and you fall behind and get killed.

I don't think that's a glitch, but yes the player not reacting correctly.

I meant exactly that glitch. I just didnt know how to explain it correctly. English isnt my first language. The console players are still suffering from the glitch. Or did Ubi release a patch?
