A downer, but it was on the cards. Here's to a hopefully good end.

My favorite show of all time is coming to an end. I’m very sadden by this, but I’m glad Alex is ending the show on his own terms, which makes the news not that bad. He’s ending the show his way.
I want to thank Alex and his team for making Gravity Falls the best damn show I’ve seen in years.
But I can't help but still feel very sad. This show was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I loved the characters, the stories, the continuity, the humor, the writing, the world Alex and his team created. I love this show to pieces man... And to see it go, I can't help but feel sad. This show made me more inspired than ever to make myself determined to make my own concept for an animated series. And that means really much to me. Thank you Alex Hirsch, you magnificent man.
Besides Rick & Morty, South Park, and Wander Over Yonder, there's no more good animated shows besides Steven Universe and that show really sucks.

Do you mean it has great animation but bad story and fan base?

I myself feel a sort of bittersweet joy in the matter. Sure the story will soon be over and it's sad to see it go, but the series has kept up a very good consistency that I'd hate to see be taken away from it like other shows (for example Spongebob or Phineas & Ferb). In any case the series isn't over yet, so lets anticipate this next episode coming Monday.

I haven't even done anything and yet I've failed.

Yeah, as I stated before, it's great that Alex is ending his show by his own mean. It won't get dragged on and lose its luster. I mean it when I say Gravity Falls is my favorite show of all time. It's by all means, a perfect show. It never had a bad episode. Maybe some dull ones, but not bad. Never. If I had any criticism, it just felt to short. I would have loved to seen an episode looking at Dipper and Mabel's past. But maybe that would be taken care of in the next episode. But anyways, Alex and his team have done an amazing job bringing Gravity Falls to life. I await the next episode.

Rumour has it that the final part of the Weirdmageddon trilogy won't air until 2016, the end's coming, yup. But as always, it looms slooowllyy...
In the meantime, here's a rather striking bit of promo art for Weirdmageddon 2:

Don't know whether to be glad it sad about the finale if it is to be aired on 2016.
Also that art is amazing! If only I can color like that.

Well, it seems Gravity Falls is really making a lasting effect, they won a BAFTA, beating Clarence and Adventure Time.

The next GF is in less than half an hour, so hyped!
Edit: I missed the episode since my Dad decided to move the router the same time the show was on!

That episode was so good! It really showed the best of Dipper and Mabel and how they really do genuinely care for each other. Can't wait for the series finale coming in 2016!

EXTERMINATE THE HIATUS.
Ahem. That was a rather heartwarming interlude, not so much progression to the main Weirdmageddon plot, mostly just the twins getting back together. But boy, was that a nice reunion.

I just caught up, and I really enjoyed both the episode and Dippy Fresh.

Some people have stated that Mabel was kind of a jerk this episode. I can see why, but that doesn't taint it at all.

Honestly I wouldn't blame Mabel at all. She had been emotionally crushed in the last episode we saw her in, so why would she want to return reality when it had rejected her so badly only a short time ago?
In a way, Mabel's wish for a perpetual summer could be seen as a meta way of connecting with those of us fans that want to see more Gravity Falls, and those that can't accept that the series is coming to a close.

I was too busy getting floored with the flashbacks to notice.
Speaking of noticing things, does anyone find it different as to how Bill Cipher is animated in Season 1 compared to Season 2?
