Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day.
I only posted the last question about an hour ago! I only normally reveal the winner as I post the next question, and I don't want to post loads of questions every day...
Just calm down and be patient, I'll ckeck it out soon enough. I keep falling asleep though, so sometimes there might be a big gap between questions.

- I keep falling asleep with my laptop, I should stop taking it to my bed.
- Don't wanna turn 18 at the end of the month. Ah well.

What's bad about turning 18 ?
- Lots of work to do, haven't done anything yet.

Lots of stress I guess. I can't really tell myself, just makes me stressed.DesLife wrote:What's bad about turning 18 ?

I think the same as ZeptoRay. However I'm 11, and, I'm not into that point of life, so, I can't really say about it, but I have to be indeed with Zepto, 18 can be really stressing and difficult.

18 is just another year in life. Heck, your 18th birthday is just another day in life. There's no magical change to fear, people don't suddenly start expecting more of you - well, at least not most people.

Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day.
Hohoho! Hello again, dear RPC members!
I have been away a bit this week, due to myself settling in a new flat (where obviously there isn't any Internet connection yet) and beginning my new job. I am back for this weekend, at least, and should be able to go back to full activity (and spam fest) very soon.
Here is my +/- list of the week!
+ Settled down in my brand new flat! 21 m², one big room with furnished furnitures, a nice little bathroom, a kitchenette behind a door in the entrance (lel). At least, nobody will ever bother me about the state of it, or be someone who doesn't care about how to cook (and do the clean up after that)
+ Almost everything is placed somewhere in it. Only a few papers are not tydied up yet.
- I got lazy and didn't tidy up them this week.
+ Began my new job. Nice ambiance, cool people, I'm learning a new CAD software.
- I am currently finishing the work the person who was there before me didn't have enough time for. It's a fucking mess: this guy didn't know how to handle constraints in digital assemblies. Fortunately, I kept a good eye and was able to correct most of them and learn the features he used in a few days. But having a 3D assembly given by one your suppliers where several components don't match the information they gave about it is quite frustrating: I'll have to correct mistakes which were done by some random guy not working in my company. For free. I know it will part of the job, but it's still super annoying.
- I don't have something on what I can hang up my shower so I can use soap. I have to leave it on the floor of the bath. Plus there are no bath curtains so I have to pay attention of where I'm putting the shower in order to avoid the floor being soaked by water. I need to talk with the owner about that.
-The owner wasn't available before today for, er, "state-checking", and housing contract signature and delivery. Theoretically, I could have destroyed the entire flat this week and get away with it (although I would have lived in the mess for a few weeks), because there was nothing covering my owner as I hadn't signed the contract yet. I still have to go back and forth between the flat and my parents' house this weekend just for that. And with no driving license, no car, it will take me roughly 4 hours for the round trip. Bitch...
++++ This week was very productive.
+++ I spent my evenings playing Dragon Age : Origins like a freak. In four days, I played around 15 hours, while I had played only one in two months. Hue...
--- I guess you all heard about the attacks on a French newspapers which happened in Paris a few days ago. Seems most reponsibles got arrested (or killed), but even with all the support everybody is giving, I'm feeling very sad and angry, mainly because the artists didn't deserve such a fate for what they have done, and also because there are people who took their drawings too seriously. Sure, they are made to challenge and provocate people, but taking them as an all-out act of blasphem or war is dumb. Or maybe they simply wanted an occasion to kill people who represented press and the liberty of expression so that people will fear expressing themselves in the future. But that won't work here.

Oh, I forgot something:
---- THE SWIMMING POOL IS BROKEN AND CLOSED. FOR F***'S SAKE, WHY IS THE ONLY PLACE I NEED TO DO SPORTS IS CLOSED IN MY NEW CITY? F*** THAT S***!
Kay, done (along with high-level swearing...).
I've been living at my parents' house in the close suburbs of Paris for my entire life. Even now I'm not too far away from Paris. It seems all the events from yesterday impacted a bit public transportation and traffic: I had delays on every singlt train I took last evening.Jewish Candy wrote:-- After the last few days you have every right to feel angry. Are you also in Paris?
People at radio stations weren't in the mood of doing their usual job on thursday. They were very disturbed by what happened, as many others working into medias.
In France, expression is paramount: we think we all have the right to express ourselves and that no one has the right of stopping us from doing so, as long as it respects rules established around it (nothing shocking, after 10 PM unless it is a showing approved by the city, no hurting, etc...).
If people happen to hurt people working in the medias, it's more than a simple attack against the policy of our government and our country: it's an attack against what people here believe as a thing which should be available for anyone, the ability to express ourselves by any means as long as we do not impose it to others. People have the right not to listen what you say, they don't have the right of silencing you.

Oooh, very nice Imco!
Speaking of Zelda:
+ Got Ocarina of Time 3D, and whilst OoT is far from my favourite Zelda, it's probably my number 6 or somewhere around there, I must say the remake is much more pleasant to play than the original version, mostly because of less menu's and 30 fps (60 would have been nice but I heard they had trouble even maintaining 30 so I can live with it.) I'm about to go to the fire temple right now.
+ more Zelda, Limited edition of Majora's mask 3D comes with Skull kid figurine.
- it's initial pre-order round sold out in minutes and as far as I know is only available in US & Canada anyway.
+ Has Pre-ordered the special edition anyway, and I honestly can' wait for it, hopefully with the spring release window it'll probably come out around about my birthday anyway.
- & + I;m still ill, but I'm starting to get better and will hopefully be able to get back to school by monday.
