Just started a new game of Rayman Origins with my brother - this time on the PC. I've got to say, the definition of the graphics in comparison to the Wii version makes the little touches (both the beautiful touches in the scenery and the comical touches in the foreground) a lot more noticeable. Plus, Globox has been (slightly) less bumbling ever since we changed from the Wii because he can now see what he's doing more

. I still like the Wii version though, as it was the one I played first and it also still has my save game with over 200 Electoons on it

Nothing special, just a GAME branded Gamepad that's designed to mimic the PlayStation controller. It's great, because the Wii Pro Classic Controller also imitates the PS controller in a way, so I was able to set it up just how I played it on the Wii, using all the same buttons in the same places

I can't believe this! The 3DS port of Rayman Origins has been delayed yet again, this time it's set for release for Q3 2012, It's also apparently changed development teams too, Now Ubisoft Casablanca seems to be working on it instead of Montipeller. Hopefully the delay is so that they can improve on it. Keep your fingers crossed. Q3 2012 in the US that is. UPDATE: IGN has revealed that it's been delayed until November, coinciding with the release of Rayman Legends.

Yeah I was pretty disappointed too. Oh well, at least it'll now be slightly better than the demo. Sales are gonna suck as usual though.

Wow, the 3DS version being released a year later. It's understandable, but they totally gave us a strange estimation.

Another delay? Whoa, I hope the true reason is that they intend to fix at least the framerate and the musical glitches.

The demo was horrendous. I'm glad for once Ubisoft are listening to the complaints and fixing it up.

Dude
They employ the Casablanca team for ALL their handheld games and had done since 2007.
Is this delay happening in Europe as well? NOT that I'd be missing much but the US delay sound so wrong, just hope they fix the buttons as well.

By the way has anyone else used this combat technique in RO: First crouch and do the crouch kick that causes the enemy to fly up, then when the enemy is in air, quickly go under him, jump and perform a jump kick up that causes the enemy to fly pretty up, then just before the enemy hits the ground kick him again up. You can repeat this technique few times before before the baddie inflates. It can be performed on Baby Chef Dragons and Waiters, Lividstones and Darktoons. The other baddies inflate too quickly.

I've tried. You eventually unlock an achievement in the HD consoles.

Oh so that's how you get that one. I've always wondered what kind of ninjatic manoeuvre you'd have to pull of to get it. The description isn't all that clear, anyway.
