Technically, he did. But it definitely began all of the original studio film productions, after hiring a lot of animators to use the internal software for CGI.
Wiki wrote:Pixar began in 1979 as the Graphics Group, part of the Computer Division of Lucasfilm before it was acquired by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in 1986

Whilst I have never been a fan of apple on the whole, Steve Jobs did a lot of work and caused a technological revolution, may he Rest in Peace.

I've always been a fan of Apple. My dad always used their products, so me and my brother grew up on them (even before Apple became popular in Israel thanks to the iPhone). Half a year ago, when my brother bought his Galaxy S II, I couldn't understand why he didn't buy an iPhone, and he opened my eyes to the truth about Apple's products. Then my computer got messed up, and I realized he was completely right. I'm still gonna use Apple products, for a simple reason: I can't stand the interface of Windows or Android.
As much as I'm upset at Apple, I was very sad when I heard of Jobs' death. I was shocked, really. This man, along with Steve Wozniak, has invented the second wheel, the personal computer. I will miss you, Steve Jobs.
Steve Jobs, 1955-2011, R.I.P.

Well, kinds of "amazing" how precise was he with the date of his resignment. As much as I may not like his creations, full honors to the man.

Saying Apple/Jobs/whoever invented personal computers is almost as false as saying Stan invented specific kind of unfunny nonsense. Being inventor is not being the pioneer in the subject.

You know, that doesn't really answer my question.

Personal computer stands for ''PC'', which is made by Windows.
Apple has the Mac.

Not really, the original PC's used to use a Command Line Interface, Windows uses a Graphical User Interface.
But yes, most pc's run Windows, but not all, some run stuff like linux or freeBSD for example.

If I'm correct, first IBM PC was made in 1981, first Windows OS was made in 1985, but first Windows OS with GUI was created in 1990 (Windows 3.0, I had pleasure to work on 3.14 lol).
